The food was delicious. I had lunch with my BFF on Tuesday and returned on Saturday with my family since it’s worth it! The birria tacos are perfect taste and not greasy. I have tried them in other Mexican places and I always have stomach ache because of the grease on them. The food is freshly made. These are the dishes that I recommend: birria tacos, quesadilla platter, skirt fajitas, kids cheese burger ( my son said the best he had). birria ramen and churros. This place is in my top Mexican restaurants from now on. Only downside is that the service need more experienced people. .. it seemed that they didn’t know much about the cocktails, wines basics menu

First time for my wife and I visiting this spot. Shout outs to the bartenders Terry and Taylor for the service and recommendations. Another shout out to the GM, Acasia. My wife has celiac and Acasia was more than happy to walk her through the menu for the plethora of gluten free options. Esquites and queso were amazing starters. My wife enjoyed the taco platter with the Big Dipper, el mandarin and carne-vor. I went with the quesadilla platter to try the chicken and skirt steak. Overall, delicious food and drinks and great service. See yall again soon!

I would rate this lower than a 1 star if I could. We had a group of 16 and had previously booked a reservation. When we arrived they said there was no reservation but decided they would try and accommodate and seat us. Now, it was Mother’s Day and it was busy so we did expect there to be a little wait, and we all had patience. We arrived at 1:30, and by 3:30 we still have not received our food. Waitress was very rude to multiple people in the group when asked about timing on the food. Most people in the group ordered brunch and did not get served the food until 4:30pm. By this time the restaurant was completely starting to slow down people who arrived after us , left before us, and other tables walked out because of the service as well. Which shows it wasn’t just us who was bothered by the poor service. When we tried to talk to the manager we were met with rudeness, and was told she shouldn’t have went against her “gut feeling” and seated us, which I then said, well we would’ve rather been upset over a canceled reservation than getting poor service with a (25% gratuity fee added). This was our first time there, and wouldn’t recommend because how staff handled The situation. All in all, was not a good experience.

Neon Cactus offers a lively, upscale dining experience that immediately stands out for its great ambience and stylish decor. The lighting, music, and vibrant interiors create a trendy yet comfortable vibe, making it a perfect spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The attention to detail in the design really elevates the overall feel, giving it a polished, modern edge without feeling overly formal. The food and drinks complement the setting well, with a menu that leans into bold flavors and creative presentation. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy both the atmosphere and the plate in front of you. That said, the service was noticeably slow during the visit. Orders took longer than expected, and there were delays in both food and drink service. However, considering it was Cinco de Mayo, the crowd and high demand likely played a big role in this. The staff still remained friendly and composed despite the rush, which helped balance the experience. Overall, Neon Cactus delivers on ambience and upscale appeal, but timing your visit on a less busy day might give you the complete experience it aims to offer.

We were excited to try this place as we always drive by it but unfortunately it was truly disgusting and I would not recommend it to anyone. I’m not trying to be a jerk, but I truly don’t know how this place could have any good reviews for the food. I got the margarita flight and the Texas two step and mangonada genuinely had almost no flavor. It tasted like cheap sweet & sour mix condensation. It didn’t taste like alcohol OR flavor, it was actually so bad I sent it back. They offered me a different drink but I just tried four of your margaritas and they were all horrible, I knew I wouldn’t be able to stomach a full drink of anything they have. The waitress was kind enough to take that off our ticket, even though we didn’t ask. I will always pay for what we order BUT I will not eat or drink something that tastes bad and I will let you know it was bad. I got the deviled eggs and they were a 7/10. Super salty and the chip or fried thing on top had clearly been sitting in a fridge or cooler bc it was completely soggy and had no crunch to it, I actually spit them out. The birria on top was good, my husband tried one and said it was very fatty. It tastes like BBQ. Not like Mexican Birria at all, but still pretty good. My husband got the breakfast tacos - they were so bland and had actually no flavor at all. They were just soggy and flavorless. It genuinely tasted like they didn’t put salt on anything but the deviled eggs, which were almost TOO salty. The rice was SO dry and flavorless - if you know how to make Mexican rice don’t even try theirs, it will be an insult to you 😂 Like when I go out to eat I want it to be a treat, not worse than the food I can make at home. I got the torta. I will say the fries were delicious! It was the only thing we really ate. I’m curious if they’re homemade or frozen, but nonetheless they WERE good and the only thing I’d recommend from what we ordered. The torta was okay, but very very bland as well. The chicken was cooked well but literally nothing had salt or flavor. I didn’t taste the pickled onions at all and the guacamole and beans just kind of blended together and didn’t taste like anything just a mushy texture. It was definitely better than his tacos but I could not stomach much of it. There was also an employee spraying wasp spray in the cactuses outside, and the only employee who was really good was our waitress who was a younger looking girl. The kitchen manager thanked us and was kind as we were walking out, but it was clear we did not like the food and we literally had a few bites of our entrees. I worked as a server in several restaurants before and my managers would’ve always tried to remedy the situation or at least taken our feedback and tried to improve. We genuinely were excited to try this place and wish wholeheartedly that we had loved it but it was just bad and not worth the price at all. Again, sorry to the restaurant and staff but I would not recommend, the food was not good,
