I'm glad this was not my first H-E-B experience or I would likely not go back. It was ridiculously busy because of the weekend holiday, but employees picking orders kept parking their carts right in the middle of aisles or cockeyed blocking aisles. All of the pre-cut fruit was over ripe and the produce department in general was disheveled. I didn't get everything I intended to because after being stuck in there for 20 minutes with only a third of what I wanted, I decided to just call it quits & go to the low items self check to save my mounting anxiety. No other store I stopped at today was that upsetting.

If you are from Texas you know H-E-B and probably actually a little happy when one of these stores opens up in an area close to you! Such is my case... I visited this store today really to try their True Texas BBQa, but you can't come here and not visit the rest of the store as well! There footprint here seems smaller than their massive stores they usually build but upon entering it did not feel smaller than their larger footprints. Great use of space? Iam not sure where the credit lies but this store does not seem smaller once you are on the inside. Their selection is outstanding. I admire H-E-B's commitment to Texas Farmers an Ranchers. Their produce for example is all locally grown. Great experience, I will definitely be back

Terrible experience. I will not be shopping here again. (Reference: Please review the security footage from June 21, 2026, around 8:35 PM at Register 6. It will provide a clear picture of what occurred.) The bagger disappeared for an extended period, and the cashier continued scanning items even as products were piling up and falling off the counter. What was most disappointing was that the shift supervisor was standing nearby, fully aware of the situation, yet appeared uninterested in helping either the customers or the staff. We waited nearly 15 minutes just to get our groceries bagged, and to make matters worse, several items were scanned twice. When I politely asked the supervisor if someone could assist at the register, she seemed more focused on her phone than resolving the issue. At one point, I was ready to leave my entire cart behind and walk out. My wife encouraged me to be patient, suggesting that the employees may not enjoy working under the current conditions. While I can appreciate that perspective, it does not excuse the lack of customer service, leadership, and attention to what was happening right in front of us. This was one of the most frustrating shopping experiences I have had in a long time. Unfortunately, it has convinced me not to return, and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This place did not disappoint! It was spacious, clean, and had so many different brands and types of products…it’s a lot more diverse than other typical supermarkets. They have a garden center at the front (on the outside), and a bbq joint on the inside to the right. They had every single check lane but one staffed and running, and a bunch of self check lanes. They have their own in house brands, and the prices across the board are excellent. So much variety in the produce, as well! And their prices were excellent. The variety of chili peppers was great, specifically. It’s mainly a grocery store with a little bit of pharmacy. They have a couple bonus aisles like toys and office supplies. A huge coffee selection, including bulk. The freezer section had SO, SO many choices, including whole mini sections for Indian (Desi) and Puerto Rican, as well as Caribbean and vegetarian. They even had a British selection of foods on the international foods aisle. At the deli, they have a large variety of presliced meats and cheeses, so you can grab and go. We bought some of their butter tortillas…and they were super yummy! Their Asian section is quite large and they have some decent quality brands, like Pulmuone and Indo-Mie and A-Sha.

Great Cashier, Terrible Kitchen Execution. I want to give credit where it’s due, the cashier was incredibly courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, the kitchen staff completely dropped the ball and ruined the entire experience. After a long day and navigating a busy store shopping for groceries, the last thing you want is a massive headache just to get a correct meal, but that's exactly what happened here. The First Attempt: Completely Wrong Cut & Missing Items They were out of turkey, which is totally understandable for a barbecue joint. Instead, I ordered brisket point (the fatty cut) and burnt ends. When I got home and opened the plate, there was exactly one slice of brisket, and it was from the flat (the lean, dry cut). On top of that, the burnt ends were entirely missing. The Second Attempt: I had to drive all the way back to the market to get the order corrected. By the time I got back up there, they were out of burnt ends too. I told them to just give me the brisket then. I drove all the way home a second time, opened the box, and was staring at two slices of the wrong brisket. I finally sat down to eat a completely incorrect, unenjoyable, dry dinner 45 minutes later than I should have. Mistakes happen, but failing to get a simple order right twice is ridiculous. They weren't even busy at all.
