Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- BBBloomMay 8, 20264.0This place was the only one open after we got back from the BTS concert (other than McDonald's) that we could stop by for past-midnight snacks and food, so we dipped by. Went in to order. Took a bit to get someone to help - I assume the overnight manager stepped in. I ordered my Double Whataburger Jr, but somehow ended up with a full Double Whataburger. I was pretty sure I didn't want to eat that much, but that burger was the tastiest, freshest thing I'd tasted from a burger place in a while, and I had previous bad experience with the chain before. Absolutely delicious, 10/10, changed my whole perspective on the franchise. Maybe the universe was telling me I needed more fuel for work the next day, idk. I ate the whole thing and my fries because it was so good. That said, double-check your orders/reciepts and make sure you're getting what you ask for. This should be something people do at all fast food/fast casual food places, since speed means things tend to be overlooked sometimes. Make sure you get your sauces (because I sure didn't get any of the sauces I would have liked). Will I go again? The cards say yes. I wouldn't have even thought about going here had I not stopped for that midnight burger. Restaurant at 1AM is empty, unless some sort of event happens like late-night concerts like this. Reminds me of liminal spaces tbh. Little spooky. Maybe it's me, but I sort of really like that vibe at night. At least it's clean!
