Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Because you don't treat humans this way At 5:30 pm I requested 2 Patty Melt Meals Large Fry, Banana Pudding shake ,Strawberry Shake Small, 1 Whataburger, 1 Cinnamon Bun paid for it and they did not give me the food I asked for. I got home only received 2 Whataburgers (no patty melt Meals) 1 very large very cold fry, and a Cinnamon bun, and the small shakes. I did not complain when I went back because my kids were hungry and did not want the whataburger hamburger but wanted the patty mealt we did not get, I'm afraid to try and correct it because it may make things to complicated for them. I tried to order doordash because , I'm sure my fries would have been Hot and Fresh I hope they would treat thier Doordash customers with better food than they gave us. However I went to go pick it up again. This time it was 6:09 pm same day 7/6/26 on Mesa near the college. The other girl cashier left and I had another girl cashier serve me I asked for 1 patty melt , I hope they could get that order correct large fry and 1 diet large soda, she had a nasty attitude and served us Very large Cold Old fries . It's a shame to pay nearly 50.00 to not get all your food and pay for it, and the second round again getting hard fries almost colder than the soda. Too much money for nasty food service. If you want good service you may need to say you would like a number 1 or a number 2, anything different, it maybe too complicated , and you will be disappointed. It was no one in line and it was not busy at this time
