Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Sometimes they take a lil long but it all depends on the day, the employees are pleasant and food is good

I visited the Whataburger on Yarbrough and North loop (#374) to order a cobb salad to go. When the provided my food to go it was half the portion that the menu showed and the chicken was lazily thrown in without being cut up. The container that the food was placed in had less than 50% of what it should have when I paid 11 dollars for a simple order. I returned to the counter to ask for a refund and was told to wait so a shift leader could assist me. When she came to the counter she did not have a name tag on, but was a heavy set hispanic woman in her late thirties. She did not introduce herself or address me. She asked the cashier what was going on and then he motioned to me that I was unhappy. Then she asked me what was wrong. I explained my complaint about paying for a full meal but only being served half of what it should have been. She replied that was the correct amount of food that should have been served. When I showed her a picture from the Whataburger website clearly showing twice the amount that I was served she exclaimed "that is the old bowl, this is the new one. this new one was correct". She didn't apologize for any confusion or offer to change or make it again. She just rolled her eyes sarcastically and then left behind a door. I over heard her complain to whoever was behind the door that "some customer is complaining". As both ladies exiting the room the first lady walked away without saying anything leaving with a woman who said she was the location manager. I asked the manager who the other lady was and she told me that it was a shift leader. I told the manager the woman was rude and condescending and what my concern was. The manager did not apologize or offer to make the order again or correct the order by adding the rest of the food it should have been. While the manager was processing the refund I asked if I could have a corporate number. She told me she would give me one once she was done. As I was provided with a receipt that stated "voided" she began to leave. I stopped her and reminded her that had asked for a number to call for a complaint. She just pointed at the receipt and said to make any complaints on the website. I told the manager I was disappointed in the fact that neither her shift lead nor her offered to correct of fix the error and that all I received was poor attitude and a refund. As she began to walk away I asked if she had a business card for the location, to which she said yes and pulled a card out with the name Gustavo Enrique Flores and stated he was the "owner". I told restated it was a poor experience and the fact that nobody offered any solution but a refund was a bad example for any business. As I began to walk away she told me I could keep the food, to which I declined and stated I did not want anything from the location and that they could give it to anyone else or throw it away. She repeated to tell me to take it, even though I declined four consecutive times. All she kept doing was "telling" me to take it instead of asking. Just a poor and horrible experience and a reminder that some business close down because of this. I will never return to this location again.

I went two weeks ago and went through the drive thru. At first they put 1 burger and fries when I should’ve had two burgers. Then they take the bag back and only give me a burger. I tell them it’s missing fries and a burger. They take the bag back and give me two burgers in two bags but no fries. I call and am told I can go back and get only the fries.
I get it. It’s not a charity but there was also no accountability. I go back to get my order and a 2nd one I had also placed. They forget my fries again. I tell them then they fix it.
They give me the 2nd order and forget the drink for that order. It’s just not right that I have to be reminding them what’s included in my orders. They messed up like 3 times in two different situations.
Also I was assisted by Aileen and the issue just doesn’t seem to be fixed.
Please just do better is all I ask. It’s annoying going back for food items that they should already know about. I’m also a big Whataburger fan. I have the clothing items and I’ve even been to the original store in Corpus on Wayside I think. It’s just not right.
I would love to be contacted back about my experience by management if they can.
