Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Every single time they just send you with whatever bullshit they feel like and hope you won’t care enough to come back

I came in expecting fast food, but apparently I accidentally signed up for a test of endurance. The frustrating part is this isn’t even a one-time experience. Every single time I’ve come to this location, there’s been something wrong with my order. Missing items, incorrect food, something is always off. You’d think after such a long wait, the order would at least be right but somehow that’s too much to ask. The best part is that no one ever seems concerned that customers are waiting or leaving disappointed. It’s almost impressive how consistently this location manages to lower expectations. At this point, I don’t come here wondering if my order will be wrong. I wonder what they’ll mess up this time. I genuinely hope management starts paying attention because this has become a pattern, not a one-off mistake. I won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon.
