Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at the Whataburger located at 1310 FM 659 N, El Paso, TX 79936.
I ordered a Green Chile Double, but my entire meal was wrong. The burger was made incorrectly, the bread was cold, and the fries were completely cold as well. I returned to the counter with my receipt and the entire meal, expecting the issue to be corrected.
The manager, Karissa, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of listening and trying to resolve the problem, she rolled her eyes at me, pulled the bag away from me, and acted like I was bothering her. She showed no concern that the order was incorrect or that the food was cold. There was no apology, no courtesy, and no attempt to provide good customer service.
To make matters worse, she kept my receipt and did not return it to me. I felt completely disrespected throughout the entire interaction.
I understand that mistakes happen, but the way customers are treated says everything about a business. A manager should set the example by treating customers with respect and resolving problems professionally. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I hope Whataburger reviews this incident and takes appropriate action so future customers don’t have the same experience. Dia 6 de julio alas 4.20 pm !

3rd time in a row getting crummy food or a messed up order. Used to be a good spot. Now they can't even make a non custom order.
