Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DPdarla portillo6 days ago1.0It took them 4 times to get my order correct. In through one ear out the other. Its like I was speaking a language from another dimension, ridiculous man. Manager wanted me to bring back the incorrect sandwich THEY made the 3rd time in exchange for a new one since he would be losing a lot of money.

We got there early, a 2 to 4 minute wait, became a 20 minute wait. Why are you guys giving a time frame if you are Not going to honor it?? I saw plenty employees going about their routine and in that 20 minutes, nobody bothered checking outside or looking at the bag of food that nobody came to get. I had to call you guys to remind you of the order. Guys, we love coming to this location, you make great food but Step It Up Please!

My daughter's chicken strip meal was completely missing from the order, which meant we had to go back and deal with the inconvenience. On top of that, the burgers were overcooked and tasted burnt, and the fries appeared to have been re-cooked, making them hard and stale instead of fresh. Also our sodas were flat.. What makes this even more frustrating is that the restaurant was not particularly busy at the time, likely due to the ongoing construction nearby. With a lighter customer load, I would have expected better attention to order accuracy and food quality. Mistakes happen, but missing items and serving food that appears overcooked and re-heated is disappointing. Hopefully management can address these issues and improve consistency for future customers.
