  Brisket sandwich at lunch was “ok”, but nothing special. The “New Potatoes” side is probably the most bland, tasteless side that I’ve ever had anywhere. Zero seasoning. Why am I paying almost $4 for a side that they put almost zero effort into making?

  Very good service and atmosphere, but a little disappointed in the chopped pork sandwich. It seemed to be a little vinegary and soggy texture. The corn was very good.

  Very good BBQ sandwich. Beans and tater salad were delightful too! Fun decorations in the restaurant. Very nice employees. Thank you!

  The cashier Esmeralda was so amazing helpful as it was my first time and very polite patient explained all the items and recommended definitely coming back again

  I'm from Owensboro, Kentucky the "BBQ capitol of the world." On social media I kept hearing about how Texas has the best smoked brisket, etc, so I was excited to level up my BBQ experience. And...It was decent overall. So brisket is my FAVORITE and I couldn't get that fast enough plus I was very hungry. When I got it I was a little disappointed. It had too much smoke, almost like you could taste the chemical 🫤. So that was a little disappointing. It was moist I'll give them that. It fell apart a little but didnt "melt" like I expected. I will say, It was very interesting tasting Texas beans. In KY we would normally serve baked beans (or my husand makes his famous cowboy beans), but these taste like it was pinto beans with BBQ sauce in it. The full ears of corn that were buttery were hitting for my husband and son. The jalapeño sausage was my favorite. It was very moist and perfectly flavored 🤌...on point! The chicken was decent, not too dry and a pretty good flavor. My husband said it was a little dry for him, though. That is what he mostly ate. But a meal for 3 with 2 drinks and a beer was like $90. And that's a little pricey for a "pretty good" meal. The atmosphere was neat. It used to be an old service station that they turned into a restaurant. They served your food in a crate and your meats slapped on butcher paper. One bonus, if you let them know that you've never been there they will cut you off some samples of the meats. So that is cool. In conclusion, I'm glad I tried it once for the experience, but it was a little expensive and just not hittin' like I heard Texas BBQ was supposed to hit . That was the first and last Texas BBQ I tried.
