The atmosphere is fun, relaxed, and you feel comfortable being here. The staff is pretty friendly and courteous. The food/ingredients are of good quality, giving everything from what I tried, a charbroiled cheeseburger and chicken strips a good taste. The fries have a good crunch on the outside and soft inside, with a a good flavor. Definitely coming back to try other menu items.

New eatery so you know we had to try it out. Nice 50's decor inside with 50's music playing. Cashier was upbeat and attentive to our order. Decent menu with Americana food choices. Prices are in the ballpark. Combos for less than $15. Self help drinks but no diet dr. pepper. Sweetened tea was out of service. The booths were tight and bench seats uncomfortable. My leg started falling asleep. One thing I could really appreciate was the staff on the floor. Friendly, helpful, and constantly cleaning tables. Lots of other restaurants could do the same. Tired of wiping down tables and benches when I eat at their restaurants. I ordered the cheeseburger combo. Drink cups are on the small side but you do get free refills. Burger was good size but I don't like that "charbroil taste". I use a gas grill to prevent that burnt grease taste on my meat at home. The crinkle fries were good but not quite enough to accompany the size of the burger. I ran out before I finished my burger. Plenty of handicapped parking. There's an outdoor shaded dining area. Nice touch for pleasant evenings with a slight summer breeze. Nice option as other restaurants keep downsizing their portions and raising their prices. Worth the trip.

Born and raised in Chicago and was so happy when I heard Portillos was coming to El Paso. The staffs were all professional and friendly and the place is nice and clean.
I see alot of reviews that the bread was soggy.
Italian beef is made in a gravy sauce and they dip the bread in to soak the flavor. If you don't like soggy bread, you have the option to get it dry with the gravy on the side. Dip dip dip.
Beef was just like Chicago's portillos. AMAZING!! Gotta get the hot peppers with it.
Fries were kind of salty. Ordered a large and it only came half way full which was kind of disappointing. I always gotta have there cheese sauce with the fries. A must.
Chicago hot dog is so delicious as always.
Onion rings here are the bomb. Always so extra crispy.
Polish was good.
Chopped salad is my fav here and was amazing minus that I only had 5 pieces of chicken. In Chicago, all salads come with breadsticks...some give poppy seed muffins but here they do not. I don't care for it but in case any of you Chicago people take a visit..just an FYI.
Have gone back 2 more times already and planning to go back many more times.
Place looks good, lots of natural sunlight, and cool car decor. The place and the bathrooms were nice and clean. The staff was nice and seemed happy to work there, though they did have them doing those corporate chants and quips every so often.
Got the #1 Italian beef sandwich with mozzarella cheese, and it was pretty bad. The beef was flavorless and dry, I couldnt bring myself to finish my sandwich.
The #1 combo Starts at $16 (post taxes) with no addons, just meat and bread, a large drink and fries. But each addon, cheese, sauces, veggies, and dips, even the style of how they make the sandwich is an upcharge starting at ¢96 (post taxes) and only goes up from there.
The burger tasted pretty cheap, akin to a Burger King burger. Though their addons came with the burger, but any other sauce other than mustard was an upcharge.
The chicken was probably the only thing that I tried that was worth the eat. Though was saddened when their dipping sauces, particularly the honey mustard has no flavor what so ever.
I unfortunately didn't try their hotdogs, but after trying 3/5 of the menu, and all of them being a miss. I don't see myself ever coming back to try a dog.
It's confusing to me how they can charge you for basic things that make up the sandwich, when every other place adds it for free. Just felt like another company wanting to milk you for every penny while selling you cheap crud.
Edit: after reading the reviews, it just seems like bots or idiots giving it a 5 star review before it was open/during construction. The place opened after March, so please be vigilant when reading them.
