  I frequent HTeaO and I typically have a pleasant experience. Today was not that day. My order came to $4.33 so I gave the cashier $5.33. She gave me my drink but not my change, so I asked for it. She gave me back $0.97. When I let her know I should have received $1, she informed me that the pennies didn’t count. So that means my order wasn’t $4.33. I was misinformed of the price. Why would I give pennies to get pennies back(I’m aware of the penny shortage)?! She should have given me the proper amount. When I questioned her she became short with me and closed the window before I was finished. I’m not concerned about 3 cents. My concern is the cashier closing the window before the end of the transaction, not knowing the penny policy at her location(if exact change is given, they don’t round to the nearest $0.05) and her disrespect. Perhaps it’s this generation that can’t handle simple math or customer service. If customer service is not your strong suit, find a new place of employment.

  Unfortunately, my first experience at HTeaO was very disappointing. We went through the drive-thru, and there wasn’t even anyone behind us, but we still felt extremely rushed. We explained that we had never been there before and needed a moment to look at the menu. Instead of being patient or offering recommendations, the employee repeatedly asked, “Are you ready?” By the third time, I simply had to say, “No.” The drinks were just as disappointing as the service. The Marfa Morning was horrible and honestly tasted like coffee from a gas station machine. The Coconut Sweet Tea wasn’t impressive either—I’ve had better at Boss Chicken for a cheaper price. For a place we were excited to try for the first time, the service and drinks definitely did not leave a good impression. I don’t mind paying for a good drink, but I expect decent customer service and quality for the price.

  Went through the drive thru yesterday around 6pm. I worked an 8 hour shift and wanted to get a sweet drink afterward. The girl who took my order was very rude to me. I was being extremely nice and patient, I’m a server at a restaurant myself, so I understand how it is and how good customer service should look like. The place didn’t look busy at all, only me and one other car in the drive thru so the service surprised me. I wonder how differently she would have talked to a customer who was actually being rude. I left before I even reached the payment window or receiving my order. I didn’t want to pay 7$ for a drink when the customer service was that bad, I decided to go to sonic instead. I get everyone has their days but again, I was being very nice.

  Excellent and fast customer service from your employee Mayra, first time there and she was very helpful and nice to me and my puppy.
