    I had a great experience at Dutch Bros today, and I especially want to recognize Jay for his outstanding customer service. Today Aug 5th 2:40pm, the weather in El Paso was around 100°F, and he was outside taking drive-thru orders in the direct sun, he still greeted everyone with a positive attitude, a smile, and excellent service. I was sitting inside my car with the A/C running and still felt uncomfortable because of the heat, so I can’t imagine what it’s like for Jay and the other employees who spend hours working outside in those conditions. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback and considers doing more to protect their employees from the extreme heat. Providing shade structures, umbrellas, cooling stations, cold water, and regular opportunities to cool off in the A/C would make a huge difference for their health, safety, and overall work experience. The employees deserve to feel as valued as they make their customers feel. Thank you again to Jay despite the conditions.

    I had a very bad experience this past Saturday July 25. There were two young people that were outside standing at the end of the lane. I drove all the way in and parked behind a car. The two members never approached my car or stopped me on the way in to take my order. They completely ignored me and took three cars that drove up behind me like three minutes after I came in. So they allowed three cars in front of me. When the girl finally took my order I asked why they ignored me and took the order from the cars behind me when they came in right after me. She lied to my face and stated that they came in before me. It was very poor customer service and the supervisor wasn’t much help either so I reported the issue to corporate. Especially because that young girl has no customer service skills and thinks it’s ok to lie to customers.
