Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I was expecting a little wait with an order that size, but they surprised me with how quickly they got everything together. The breakfast was hot and fresh, the employees were genuinely kind and helpful, and the entire restaurant was very clean. It’s not easy handling a large order during the breakfast rush, but this crew made it look easy. I really appreciate the great service and wanted to make sure the El Campo team gets the recognition they deserve. Keep up the great work!

I stopped at the Whataburger in El Campo Saturday morning around 9 AM while traveling through on my way to New Braunfels, and I have to give this store some props! The service was friendly, the food came out fast, and the breakfast was **hot, fresh, and very good**. Everything was exactly how a Whataburger breakfast should be. I stopped here completely out of the blue and was impressed with both the restaurant and the nice little city of El Campo. Great job to the entire team at this location. Keep up the great work! I’ll definitely stop again when I’m traveling through. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- MMM.HAug 16, 20261.0Probably the slowest Whataburger in Texas, if you go there for breakfast be prepared to sit in the drive through for at least 20 minutes. Went there this morning took almost 20 minutes for my food. Had no straws for my drinks, no silverware for my breakfast bowl, cokes were watered down by the time we got home cause we sat so long waiting for food. I dont see how anybody still goes to this place. It’s ridiculous!!
