Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Fast hot food.
Awesome knowledgeable professional friendly staff.

The fries always tastes bad now! The burgers are no longer fresh! The veggies look rotted!

They started making us parking in curbside instead of waiting at drive thru like it shoudl be for fast food. Seems like they’re trying to better their numbers while we actually haven’t gotten our food. They take way too long now relying on curbside.

I ordered a burger with no onions, and my receipt clearly reflected that. After waiting 25 minutes for my order, I finally received it—only to find it had onions. I took it back to the counter, and Maritza took it to the back, came out, and insisted it didn’t have onions. I opened the burger in front of her, and there they were.
Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she rolled her eyes and took it back again. At that point, I requested a refund because it was obvious they were just scraping the onions off rather than making it fresh.
What made the experience worse was the complete lack of professionalism—no apology from the staff or manager, just a refund handed over with no attempt to address the situation. After wasting 25 minutes, I had to leave and find somewhere else to eat. A true waste of my time and very poor customer service at this location.

This was my first time ever experiencing Whataburger. I live in Virginia and we don’t have one so when I saw it when working at our Texas sites I had to try it. I was not disappointed at all. The food was chefs kiss fresh and hot. The French fries tasted as if the potatoes were just peeled and fried. The burger was delicious and the toppings lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. Mouth watering delicious. I’m wanting more as I type this LOL. The service too was amazing. I believe the lady was a manager but she was friendly and polite. There was a district manager on site who came and introduced herself to us. Stellar service. I hope to one day visit again and if so this is on the top of my revisit list.
