It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Honestly, this was the worst experience I’ve had at this Whataburger. The person who took my order was promoting the app and told me I could get a free burger if I downloaded it, so I did. When I got to the cashier, it was a different employee checking me out. I had her scan the barcode for my reward, but she didn’t acknowledge it or verify that the reward was applied—she just scanned it and immediately had me pay. After I noticed the free burger wasn’t applied, I told her, and she didn’t seem to care. She just said the reward would still be there for later. But the whole point was to use it on that order. Why promote downloading the app if employees aren’t going to make sure the rewards are actually applied or help fix the issue? It was really frustrating and disappointing.

it took almost an hour to get my food i ordered curbside and it took 20 minutes for me to realize i was never going to get my food waiting so i went inside and my food was still not ready even tho it said it would be ready at 1:15, my food was not ready and it was already 1:40. Everybody that had a curbside had to go inside.

Extremely disappointed with both Uber Eats and the local Whataburger. My order was canceled by Uber Eats with the claim that the restaurant was closed. When I immediately called the restaurant, they confirmed they were open and had no idea why the order was canceled. When I reached out to Uber Eats support to ask for a credit since I now have to wait 3–10 days for a refund, they were completely unhelpful and showed zero empathy for the situation. Neither company takes responsibility for their mistakes. Save your time and order elsewhere

They gave me a taco with hair inside and they don't even apologize for it, not good service at counter, did my order 5 miles away got here and was not ready 😑 disappointed

I love this location their always friendly and there is always someone cleaning from inside to outside. And food is always hot when I receive regardless of the time I come.
