Like most customers, I assumed a half sheet cake would be the standard half sheet size that virtually every bakery in America uses. Unfortunately, when I arrived at Baskin-Robbins to pick up the cake on the day of the party, I discovered that their version of a “half sheet” is significantly smaller than what most people would reasonably expect. This was never clearly explained during the ordering process, and I only found out at pickup—when it was far too late to make other arrangements. The issue isn’t just the size of the cake; it’s the lack of transparency. If a store uses non-standard sizing, that should be clearly communicated when customers place their orders, especially for important events like children’s birthday parties where the number of servings matters. I was disappointed and frustrated because I relied on the common understanding of what a half sheet cake is. Better communication and clearer sizing information would help prevent other customers from being put in the same position. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling misled and took away from what should have been a special day for my daughter. This was not listen anywhere and paid $60 For a personal size cake I feel I was scammed
