  Picone is a favorite of our whole family. The food could not be cooked better, the menu changes a little over time to keep us interested, and the employees and owner are kind.

  American Italian whumbo jumbo cutlets GRANDE . When I say “I love large breasts” this is it right here. LARGE BREAST cutlets deep fried with exquisite seasoning for that crunchy delight. Finally Topped off exciting red pepper dill parmasean PESTO house sauce garnish. Did I mention I think theres some pasta hiding under the deep fried glory of chicken parm cutlets? This dish makes me wanna “hey mambo, mambo Italiano, Go -Go - Go- to Picone in a Denton Texas Oh” 🎶

  There was more food than I could eat and one sitting. I asked that somebody knocked on the door loudly and nobody knocked on the door. I was alerted by my dog that something was there. Other than that, it was quick. It was tasty and I’ll order again from Picone.

  Our 13-year-old asked for chicken parm for her birthday dinner and originally wanted Olive Garden. We love supporting local when we can, so we suggested Picone instead, and I’m so glad we did. Every single thing we ordered was so thoughtfully done. The Chicken Parm Pesto was incredible. The chicken was perfectly crispy, the pasta was cooked just right, and the pesto added so much fresh flavor without taking away from the classic chicken parm. The Birria Crunchwrap was packed with the crunchy outside, the tender-flavorful meat, melty cheese, and the pickled onions absolutely made it. They added the perfect fresh bite that balanced everything out. Such a good combination. The smash burger was exactly what you want from a smash burger. Crispy edges, juicy in the middle, and full of flavor. AND THEIR SAUCE 🤤🤤 But can we talk about those potatoes? They deserve a spot on the menu all by themselves. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, perfect, and the kind of side you keep reaching for long after you told yourself you were full. The Caesar deserves its own little moment too. Crisp romaine, dressed just right, and balanced enough that every bite was just as good as the first. It wasn’t an afterthought. It was genuinely delicious. You can tell there’s a lot of care behind every plate that comes out of the kitchen. Nothing felt like an afterthought, and every bite tasted intentional. Huge shoutout to the team at Picone for making our birthday dinner feel special. We came for the chicken parm, but we’ll definitely be back for all of it.
