  Definitely get the Caesar salad, traditional and one of the best authentic Caesars. We split a Chicken Parm with Sunday sauce. 1st is the sauce, more of a vodka sauce and excellent, 2nd Rigatoni is cooked perfectly with a slight chew to the pasta (lovely), 3rd is the huge chicken with the cheese nestled inside the breading (nice cheesy surprise). Seating is limited and order at the counter. BYOB. Don’t wait, go soon.!

  I never do good or bad reviews. But this restaurant I am so sadly disappointed in, as we had been looking forward to getting to eat there and haven’t since they opened. Mind you, I was in the service industry, for context. We arrived this evening for dinner, my husband, baby, toddler and myself. I asked about portion size (didn’t know they were apparently known for sizable portions), and was told the dish I was interested in would definitely feed my husband and I and what little my toddler would have, especially if I ordered a shareable. I opted for dessert. We waited… way too long, 35 minutes is my guess. People came and went with their food and we sat outside with our slowly dissolving children. We had made sure they knew we were at the picnic table. We had our number. I decided to go in and remind them anyway. They started talking amongst themselves trying to figure out where our food was, seems they delivered it to the wrong table (my guess from the gentleman bringing a plate back from another table in the midst of the chaos) yet we were offered no explanation. While they (2 ladies and a gentleman) were moving around trying to figure it out, I did stop someone and tell them we would need it to go at this point since it had been so long we needed to get home. Got our food shortly after, no explanation, no apology, no discount, nothing. Just “have a good night!” We get home with it and while the chicken is delicious and quite large…. This is not very much pasta. I would have been fine with a simple “this is what happened, we are so sorry!” I even would have been irritated at the pasta portion, but not said anything. But too much went wrong with this. I am very sad to say.

  Picone is a gem in Denton. We love to go there for great service, delicious food, and great staff! Their food is freshly made, always offering an upscale twist on favorites. The crispy potatoes and burrata are worth the trip. Staff is friendly and always takes good care of us!

  The burger was really good - if you like onions integrated well into the burger experience, you will love the smashburger. The hot pickles are a treat too. I also got the potatoes which were satisfying and yummy. Thank you!
