Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Ordered a junior burger with cheese, received a large bun with a tiny, old, dry patty.

Gotta be something different going on now. 10/10 actually fast cooked to order food. Constantly perfect 3 times in a row over a 2 week period.

2nd time they forgot something from my order. Food was cold. Fries were old and chicken was old and dry.

i literally never write reviews/bad reviews but i just have to say my order has never been so consistently wrong at a single fast food restaurant. every time i go, i order a burger with everything on it, and my boyfriend orders a plain and dry. every single time, without fail, they give us TWO plain and dry burgers. i am 20 weeks pregnant, so this last time i went, i explicitly ensured they had my order correct. it was my mistake to not check the food until i got home knowing how this WB is, but i literally audibly asked them to make sure one burger had everything on it and one is plain, so i figured there was enough common sense to do that, but i suppose not. thank you decatur whataburger for ruining a pregnant lady’s day.

It is hard to rate a restaurant when you walk in and it looks like the floor has not been mopped in days. There’s so much food underneath the equipment behind the front that has fallen and it looks like it’s not been picked up in days. surely they have not dropped that much food in just a day. It is only 3 o’clock in the afternoon. There was a gentleman sweeping the floors, but it did not appear to have helped and there’s plenty of tables that could’ve been wiped off instead and seats with crumbs all over them. On top of that, they have a portable air conditioner. I’m so sad that this Whataburger has gone downhill so badly. The elderly man that used to own the restaurant doesn’t appear to be here anymore so I assume it’s under new management or ownership.
