Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- RDReach Pro Digital4 days ago5.0Stopped at Whataburger for a quick lunch and ended up leaving completely stuffed. Got the Double Whataburger with cheese, fries, and a drink. The patties were cooked nicely, the cheese was melted, and there were plenty of fresh toppings on the burger. The fries were hot and seasoned just right. The line moved pretty fast, and the employees were cool and friendly. Prices weren’t bad considering how much food I got. Definitely a solid fast-food spot when you want a big burger.
- OOOsan4 days ago1.0I would like to file a complaint about the consistent service issues at this Whataburger with manager Fatima, during night hours. This incident specifically occurred on 08/13/2025. I work near this location and often visit the drive-thru around 3–4 AM, but I am frequently told the system is down. I understand this can happen occasionally, but it seems to occur too often to be normal. When the system is “down,” I am still asked to wait or leave without being able to order, which is very frustrating given how often it happens. On other visits, I am also regularly asked to park and wait for my food for 45+ minutes after placing and paying for my order. During these long wait times, I have noticed that the night manager, Fatima, is often outside talking with people who appear to be her friends while I am still waiting on my order. Meanwhile, other customers seem to receive their food before me, which makes the experience feel unfair and poorly managed. This has become a repeated issue and I would appreciate it being looked into, as it is affecting my experience at this location.
