Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Very awful we was waiting for a food in a drive-thru line for 15 to 20 minutes then we got home the order was not even I ordered I order was basically just no care anymore not enough vegetables we ask for cheese there was no cheese or request was poor please close down that facility or get new management and staff.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience at this Whataburger. I typically enjoy the food, but the service I received today was so hostile that I ended up leaving without even spending my money.
The trouble started at the intercom with an employee named Frances. Before she even greeted me, her mic was already live, and I had the displeasure of overhearing her talking poorly about a previous customer. It set a very unprofessional tone from the jump.
When she finally took my order the attitude was IMMEDIATE.
I asked for a Cobb salad with chicken. She responded condescendingly with, "What kind of salad did you want?" When I repeated myself, she actually sighed and became visibly frustrated. It turned out she was asking if I wanted spicy or original chicken, but instead of just asking that, she played a guessing game and sat in silence for a long pause.
When I ordered a hibiscus lemonade she snapped because I hadn't specified a size yet. Again, there was a silence so long I had to ask if she was still even on the line.
The interaction was so unpleasant and Frances was so aggressive that I actually became concerned about the integrity of my food. If someone is that upset over a salad order, I don’t trust them behind the counter with my meal.
I pulled up to the window to get the name of the person on the mic. Frances came around the corner, yelled her name at me, and then winked as if she took pride in being rude to paying customers….( I want to clarify that the lady actually working the window was very polite, but Frances is a total liability to this location)
Frances desperately needs basic customer service training or needs to be kept far away from the headset. I will not be returning to this location. If you want a meal without a side of blatant disrespect, go elsewhere.

Terrible experience here, I waited 30 minutes for my very SIMPLE order to be made, as I watched I witnessed the MANAGER making other people’s food with her fingers RIPPED OUT OF HER GLOVES. Not only did she make people’s food with her bare hands, she was also touching RAW meat and grilling patties with her bare hands as well. She went back and fourth from touching raw meat and making people’s food at the same time without changing her gloves!! Not to mention her feet was hanging out of the back of her shoes which was very disgusting to see. I will never waste my money or come back to this location again. I’ve never seen a manager with such unsanitary skills before!!

I came into Whataburger on 5/6/2026 around 3:30 PM and ordered a plain burger with cheese only. When I received my order it had mustard on it so I politely came back inside to let them know the order was incorrect.
I respectfully said “ma’am” and the employee named Frances Love responded with “what?” in a very rude and aggressive tone. Even another customer sitting nearby commented and said “Wow" she’s very rude you asked her politely.
I understand mistakes happen with orders but there’s no reason to speak to customers disrespectfully when they’re simply asking for their food to be corrected. Management should please review the cameras/order records around that time.

Oh how the mighty have fallen.
I had ordered my food to eat in the restaurant and got the usual number placard. Then sat at my table and when the lady called my number she looked at me from across the restaurant and said "I'm not walking over there" she then set my food on the front counter for me to have to go back up to the counter to get. Yes, I know I'm fully capable of fetching my own food. However, if it's not the standard to have my food to be brought to my table anymore (which is the main purpose of having a number on your table) then please make it known; or is your old grumpy lady of an employee just being lazy?
