Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Something was causing the staff major problems. The drive through was slowed down to one car ever 20 minutes and the done in guest were waiting even longer for their orders and the were only three cars in the drive thru and two done in guest during the 40 minutes I waited for my order. I ran out of time before I had to be at work and had to leave without any food before work.

Ms.francis- the manager, also the cook is very rude. It is very inappropriate for her to be using profound language in the work area , to customers especially EMPLOYEES!! She treats them like no human should be treated. She is too old to be acting like that. Honestly needs to retire at this point. Whataburger doesn’t need that in their cooking area REFUSING to make me my sandwich. TERRIBLE MANAGER. Those kids are doing such a good job it’s just the manager that is so out of place.

Whataburger Review I didn't realize how many bad reviews the management had here. People have been complaining for a while and nothing has changed? I visit Whataburger once a week or so around Dallas, but this specific location is faithful to always get something wrong. I always order extra lettuce because this one barely puts any on the burger. I told the young lady at the drive thru window that there wasn't extra lettuce (which I was charged for). The manger comes to the window with an ugly look asking, "what do you mean you want extra lettuce?" She had gloves on while opening the dirty window, obviously making food. On another visit, the onion rings were nearly black from over frying. She came to me again and asked what's wrong with them. I showed them to her and she said "you customers". People have to go to her to complain because she's not paying attention. And then she complains about them for highlighting her mistakes. I stopped going to this location for a while, but on a recent visit, I noticed her in the back but said nothing. The food took a lot longer than usual so I asked and nobody could figure it out. Then two different employees calling out orders said, "oh this is your order." I opened the bag and it wasn't even close to what was on the receipt. The woman manager came out and started to say I was the problem, that I always do this (make sure they get my order right before leaving because this location is notorious for getting orders wrong). She raised her voice, talking real loud to her employees in front of the customers because I told her it might be time to retire, & she went off. I said ‘you are rude to your employees’ because she belittles them. They're all young teenagers. Then she goes back and yells into the kitchen loudly asking, “Am I mean to you all?” 😲 Like a child. She started to take my order & said I'd have to pay again and that she would send the money back to my bank being very sarcastic taking my order, again telling me I always do this. Yea, I just want my food right. I asked for a print-out receipt to show that it's going to be back in my bank and she gave me a copy from the copy machine. By the time I got my order I looked in the bag and noticed she forgot the onion rings and ranch dressing. I said see you always forget something. I didn't make a scene, I just wanted to get out fast. When leaving, I asked the young lady if I could get a big bag to carry it all, the old lady kept interrupting the girl, it's like she was doing it on purpose. Even if she has a problem with a customer, she shouldn't put an employee in that position. I asked again to the girl, ‘can I get a large bag I want to get out of here.’ The old lady said loudly, “yeah we want you out of here too.” I've never seen a manager, or really any employee, crash out like that. She was embarrassing herself and everyone was looking at her. Last thing, I truly believe she set me up to have to ask her about the meal so she could make a scene. The girl repeated my order and the receipt had the right order. The manager was looking for conflict and increasing her antics trying to rage bait a customer. She's a liability for the franchise owner, even if you just go by all of the negative reviews she's brought upon this location already. It's sad that those above her can't manage the manager, so corporate is now reviewing the footage and will go from there.

I'm the type of person that doesn't complain when I find hair in my food. But this place has left out food in my order well over a dozen times! They either do it to every single order on purpose for some reason or I'm truly just that unlucky for it to be EVERY SINGLE TIME. like real talk. Every time! Plus it's a guarantee 10-30 MINUTES WAIT TIME. You wait so long you are ready to go n I forget I need to check it at this specific location cause I mean they NEVER FULFILL THE ORDER CORRECTLY, but o yes they always remember to charge you for it.
