Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- PPPoisonProxy “Poison”Jun 30, 20261.0I came in with my mother for a meal. The receptionist was nice and quick. I ordered a cover salad for my mother and specifically requested NO BACON. The receptionist understood and verbally reminded her co-worker no Bacon on the salad. When I received the salads there was three strips of bacon. When I returned it to the employee I watched her hand it back to her co-worker as she took out the Bacon from the salad by hand, she had the nerve to chuckle and laugh to then give her back the salad and give me back the salad that was contaminated with the bacon. I then took it back to her and requested a whole new salad since it was cross contaminated with Bacon. My mother is religious and can not consume bacon by any means. This was a horrible display of customer service by all means.

She inquired whether the order was for Uber or for myself. I explained that it was a personal order, and when asked if I preferred to come inside, I replied that I would wait in the drive-thru line. Upon reaching the drive-thru window, the attendant still appeared confused even after I clarified and showed her that it was my order. She then reiterated that I needed to enter the establishment to pick up my order. As a result, I decided not to proceed inside and left. Poor customer service
