Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered the Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich with fries, and everything was hot and fresh. The chicken was crispy, the sauce had a nice sweet and smoky flavor, and the fries were actually really good. The staff was friendly even though it was pretty late, and I didn’t have to wait forever. Definitely a solid option when you’re hungry and need something quick.

Service was quick even though they were kinda busy, and everyone working there was cool. Portions were good too, definitely left full. Can’t really go wrong with Whataburger when you’re craving a late night burger and fries.

I pay move up to the next window sat there for about 5 minutes and they asked me to pull forward as they made it fresh. I thought to myself that's odd. It's a junior cheeseburger, a small fry and a small beverage but whatever. They bring me the food and it's cold. So I guess fresh means fresh from the refrigerator? I then went back to work and discovered that my hamburger had no cheese and vegetables, mustard and mayonnaise. So I paid for my meal a small meal. They got it completely opposite of what I asked for charged me for cheese that I didn't get and I had to wait for it so it could be cold.
