I asked him if he could order me a large quantity of vegetables to buy when they arrive. He was very willing. He ordered the correct quantity of the item I needed and called me to let me know it was ready. I purchased these items from the store promptly. Jimaya at customer service rang my order up quickly and efficiently. I was extremely pleased with the friendliness of the store representatives and their willingness to offer optimal customer service. I am so grateful for clerks like Michael who go out of their way to make sure the customer has what they need timely. I plan to continue to shop there!

So my most recent experience was in the floral department where I purchased $90 worth of balloons. One of the foil balloons they gave me was defective and had a leak, within 15-mins of leaving the store my balloon looked like a 5 day old balloon. I was setting up for an event and called Tom Thumb for a resolution. they initially said they couldn’t refund, then they sent me to a manager who kept going back and forth with me on trying to get me back in the store immediately which didn’t make sense because my event was in 15 minutes. There’s more to this story but in conclusion, they did not refund a defective product, even after I provided evidence, which is a shady business practice to me. I’ve never had a positive experience shopping here and will obviously not return.
