Customer service is nonexistent at this location- the only saving grace was the young lady working the drive up department. The 14999 Preston location is more customer-oriented and friendly.

It has a down home feel to it and friendly staff and I can honestly say I have enjoyed my every visit here. They have a great selection of Seafoods, Meats, Fruits and Vegetables, Dairy, Wines and Beers, and even a great Floral Department. Additionally, they have one of the better Kosher selections I have personally notice in the Dallas-Fort Worth. I highly recommend this Tom Thumb if you are in the market for a grocery store that has a hometown feel to it!

- EJErin JohnsonJul 10, 20261.0My husband loves to shop at Tom Thumb and I have warned him several times that the quality of meat and produce just isn’t there. This past week had an heirloom tomato rot two days after we bought it but today I’m gonna talk about this steak. The date on the label said it was packed July 8th, today is the 10th, and it should be sold by the 12th. I open both individual ribeye packages and the meat already had gray edges with a sour smell. I tried to salvage by cutting the gray off, but after doing some research I made an executive decision to not risk it and toss it out and go get a refund tomorrow. This should NOT be happening to meat that isn’t past expiration so y’all might want to check your temperature gauges on the refrigerated meat cases because it’s clearly not correct. And this is why I shop at Kroger and HEB/Joe V where this doesn’t occur. Please do better.
