- MJMark JaggersAug 11, 20264.0We decided to try out The Oceanaire for lunch during DFW Restaurant Week. The restaurant decor feels a little dated but is still tasteful. The food was good. Some parts were better than others. The tomato bisque was not great. It was very salty. The coconut curry mussels were cooked properly but the sauce was missing the coconut curry flavor and was mostly just spicy. The winners were the burger, fish and chips, and the keylime pie. The burger reminded me of a good 5 star hotel room service burger. This is a positive. The fish and chips were lightly battered and delicious. The keylime pie was excellent. Light and tart. The service was also excellent.

Not cooked enough for my liking. I could see where they were going with the flavor. The sauce was that it was paired with was good , and tad warm. The fish was good soft like butter but the presentation wasn't to my standards the Tuscan veggies it came with were not good. I scraped it to the side and literally just ate the fish. My wife's food was good . The drinks were good and pretty. I don't know if I would go back.

His recommendations were exactly what he said.The food was exceptional and worth every penny. This was our first time visiting and they made it very memorable. Thank you Johnny for loving what you do and providing us with excellent service. We will be back!
