I usually don't leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, today's experience was very disappointing.
We arrived around 10:00 PM and placed our dine-in order at 10:05 PM, according to our receipt. I completely understand that a small rush can happen and the kitchen may get backed up, but after waiting over 30 minutes with no food, I went to the counter to ask about our order.
One of the employees seemed confused, and it turned out our food had been boxed up as a to-go order and had apparently been sitting on the counter the entire time. I'm not sure why this happened since we clearly ordered dine-in and had a table number.
What made the experience even more frustrating was that no one apologized for the mistake. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told that no manager was on duty and that I would have to wait until Monday to speak with someone.
To make matters worse, several customers who ordered after us received their food before we did. It seemed there was confusion between the kitchen and the front counter, but no one took responsibility or tried to make things right. I hope management addresses these issues because the customer service we experienced was unacceptable.
I’ve never left a review in all my years but this story simply must be shared.
It was late on a Friday night and my drunken self had ordered a simple burrito. Nothing fancy. Just something to half eat and half toss in the fridge in this blessed town we call Dallas. Let me tell you… Fortune favors the brave.
When my doordasher arrived, to my benefit, and perhaps someone else’s misfortune.. OR JUST SHEER DESTINY. I was handed a completely incorrect order. Instead of my carnitas burrito, I received a burger, fries and 3 TAMALES. Now, i’m still inebriated so I don’t even know if this place sells tamales because I don’t see them on the menu….
PERO. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING BROTHER. The burger was bang average. PERO, fries muy crispioso. THE TAMALES WERE THE BEST TAMALES I’VE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE. I’ve eaten Tamales in Los Angeles, New Mexico, El Paso… BUT NOTHING COMPARED TO THIS. Again… idk if they even sell them. But holy mother of pearl. Thats a g’dam tamale. If they sell them, you must buy. God bless this restaurant, and god bless America xo

My family and I chose Taqueria Taxco for Father's Day, hoping to enjoy a nice meal together. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we've had.
From the moment we walked in, the cashier rushed us through our order, making it clear she was more interested in getting us out of the line than ensuring our order was correct. That lack of attention showed throughout the entire visit.
Once seated, our food came out at completely different times, so our family couldn't even eat together. We then received two kids' chicken nugget plates when we had only ordered one. When we politely asked for a receipt to make sure we weren't being charged for the extra meal, the employee seemed annoyed that we even asked.
Things got worse when my husband's fajita plate finally arrived. The menu states it includes three different meats, but the plate only had two. When we pointed this out, the employee casually told us they were out of sausage and had "forgotten" to mention it when we ordered. Had we been informed beforehand, we would have ordered something else. Instead, we paid for something that wasn't as advertised. She eventually gave us extra fajita meat as compensation, which was the only attempt made to correct the situation.
To top it all off, while we were eating, droplets started falling onto our food from above, likely from an AC unit or condensation. We had to move tables, only to find the next table was dirty and hadn't been cleaned.
For a busy Father's Day, we expected things to be crowded, but there's a difference between being busy and being poorly managed. The service was disorganized, communication was lacking, cleanliness was an issue, and the food itself was underwhelming. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed that a meal meant to celebrate Father's Day was completely overshadowed by such a negative experience.
We will not be returning and cannot recommend this location based on our experience.

I come in for the breakfast tacos. Lili always takes good care of me, and always greets me with a smile and a friendly hello. Tacos are made to order - not off a steam table - and the green sauce is my go to. I need to try the menudo on the weekends.

There was a mistake on the date that I had done on the app and there was no way to get a hold of anybody except The Store and I’m being billed for $441 a week ahead of time so there needs to be a way and a recourse for changing the orders or canceling the orders when something untimely occurs or there needs to be an adjustment.
