  Lure Ball Bites Disaster nearly struck when Kyogre drifted toward the counter and requested 100 cheeseburgers and 100 chicken sandwiches. In that moment, the Sonic crew looked like a Trainer with a team of Lv. 5 Magikarp staring down a Legendary Pokemon with nothing but Poké Balls and a dream, silently wondering if this was the day the restaurant became an underwater cave. Just before Kyogre could unleash Origin Pulse on the grill, I managed to use Calm Mind and talked it into a Smash Burger with cheesy tater tots instead, saving the kitchen from becoming a postgame event. The staff recovered like veteran Gym Leaders after surviving a near wipe, and while the Frozen Peach Watermelon was sweet, the Peach-type landed a critical hit so powerful that Watermelon never even got a turn. The world may never know how close we came to losing that kitchen, but somewhere, a Sonic employee still wakes up in a cold sweat whenever someone mentions ordering 100 burgers.

  pulled into a stall around sunset and used the screen to order a cherry limeade and a cheeseburger. it took a few extra minutes but the carhop came out smiling and apologized. drink was icy and perfect and the burger was hot with fresh toppings so it felt worth the wait
