Too funny, they charged me 75$ for cutting the cake into 3 pieces 😂😂, I bought the cake for 50$ from a bakery and paid 75$ at this restaurant to just cut the 3 pieces out of it 🤣, not even whole cake, chef cut 3 rectangle pieces out of it. Wowww!

How do you run out of ingredients before dinner time? It's a decent place to hang out and have something to eat and drink. Food and drinks were just ok. Nothing to brag about. Good to only visit once.

This is a beautiful rooftop restaurant. The ambience is very elegant and welcoming. Come for dinner and catch the sunset outside. Our waiter is Matt. He is very good in taking our pics and recommending food! All the starters are delicious. Crispy artichoke and sea bass are my most fav. My mocktail is great too not too sweet.

Server seemed like we were a bother to take care of.We had put “birthday” in the reservation but there is no special accommodation for it so what’s the point, when we finally asked if there was anything done for birthdays the server seemed annoyed. Went specifically to view and take pictures of the gallery but had it closed. Food was also not worth the price. pretty place but wouldn’t return

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at RH Rooftop Dallas was disappointing from start to finish, especially given the restaurant's upscale reputation and prices. Upon arrival, we were stopped at the entrance by the reservations host. When my husband provided the reservation name, she appeared immediately suspicious and would not acknowledge the booking until I personally stepped forward and confirmed my identity. The interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and set an uncomfortable tone before we had even entered the restaurant. One particularly uncomfortable moment occurred after we were seated. The same host who had questioned our reservation downstairs later came upstairs, walked directly past our table, looked over at our group, and then returned downstairs. We did not observe her checking on any other tables in the same way. Given the earlier interaction at the entrance, the repeated attention felt unnecessary and unsettling. When we reached the rooftop, we encountered another host who was exceptionally cold and dismissive. We apologized for being late, attempted to be friendly, and even made light conversation while waiting, but she barely looked up from her screen. All four members of our party left that interaction feeling unwelcome and judged. The experience only deteriorated from there. When we were finally escorted to our table, there was a dirty, dust-covered vacuum sitting directly on my seat. Rather than removing it from the dining area, the host simply shifted it to the seat beside us. As someone with dust allergies, this was both unpleasant and frustrating. It was shocking to see cleaning equipment left among guests in what is marketed as a luxury dining environment. The final straw came during dinner when a valet employee approached our table while we were actively eating. He informed us that valet services were closing because his shift was ending, placed our keys on the table, and requested payment. Being interrupted mid-meal to handle valet logistics and tipping is not something I would expect at any restaurant, let alone one charging premium prices. To make matters worse, the menu offered virtually no meaningful vegetarian options for guests with dietary restrictions. RH Rooftop Dallas has a beautiful setting, but attractive décor cannot compensate for poor hospitality, inattentive service, and a general lack of professionalism. For a restaurant positioning itself as a luxury experience, the staff training and guest experience fall far below expectations.
