My sister and I had an incredible experience at Pappasito’s Cantina! AKSHAY was hands down one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time. He was professional, attentive, and made the whole dining experience enjoyable from beginning to end. He stayed on top of everything, made great recommendations, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. The manager was equally impressive and made sure guests felt welcomed and taken care of. It’s clear this location values excellent customer service and teamwork. Between the amazing food, great atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality, this visit was truly a 10/10 experience. AKSHAY exceeded expectations and made us feel like valued guests instead of just another table. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great food and even better service!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Pappasito’s Cantina tonight! From the moment we sat down, AKSHAY provided some of the best customer service we have ever received. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. You can truly tell he cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does. The manager TOP was also exceptional and made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. It’s rare to see a team work together with such professionalism, positivity, and genuine hospitality. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service honestly made the entire experience stand out even more. AKSHAY went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and because of service like this, we will definitely be coming back. If you visit, ask for AKSHAY — you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend this location for both incredible food and truly outstanding customer service.

For Mother’s Day they made us wait 2 hours (keep in mind we order the food to be ready at 4:30pm for pick-up and got home until 6:00pm) and once I got home I didn’t event get enough meat to feed my whole family (mix fajitas). I called to complain and see if there was a resolution to the problem and they told me that I could pick up the rest of the food but I would have to wait another hour so in total they are making me wait 3 hours for a family meal that is supposed to feed in between 4-6 people. As well that are making me drive all the way here and they are making me wait the hour they said for just the meat I am missing. Super bad customer service because they tell us in the text message that the food is ready and will be delivered in a bit when they are making you wait a whole hour when previously they made me wait 2 hours to even get the order I made if they know that they are going to be that pack in a special holiday they need to put more people in the clock.

I’m writing this review to highlight the exceptional customer service provided by Zachary, despite the initial confusion and poor experience we had with our server. Upon our arrival, there was some confusion about who our server would be. I noticed this from my seat, as we were informed of our server’s name. However, it took our server an astonishing 20 minutes to come to our table. Our group had several issues with our server’s approach and all of our food and drinks were incorrect when brought to us. They found our server condescending and unprofessional. I tried to remain calm and give him the benefit of the doubt, but as time went on, our orders kept getting wrong, and our server claimed he had put them in correctly. There was no accountability from him. One particularly frustrating incident occurred when I pointed to my food, trying to signal that my food was not what I had ordered. He said, “You have to use your words, Boo.” This was not only rude but also dismissive of my concerns. I can understand this to an extent, however his condescending responses prior made things worse. I reached a breaking point and asked for a manager. That’s when Zachary stepped in. He listened attentively, took responsibility for the mistakes, and showed patience and kindness. His professionalism turned our entire experience around. Two out of the five of us had been to this establishment before, but thanks to Zachary, the other three will be returning. Thank you Zachary for showing us that great customer service still exists.

Husband and I are Seniors. We typically get "minimal" because the server doesn't expect a "great" gratuity from a Senior couple. Most of us are on fixed incomes. Tipping means something different to Seniors. We were brought up in a era where tipping is only for servers that go above & beyond. Today society has changed. It appears that tipping is required. There are rules 10% no longer exist. 20% is mandatory. If the party is larger than 6? Tipping goes up.. depending if cocktails are involved because the Bartender gets "tipped out" at the end of the shift Too many rules for Seniors. Thank you for allowing me to rant. Yesterday we ended up at Papasito Cantina because Pappas Steakhouse was closed I sincerely only wanted oysters on the half shell. My Husband does not eat seafood. He has never tried it. So, therefore, I never get to order oysters. Which I dearly love. I try to explain to him, "It is in your favor for your wife to eat oysters!" He only laughs and says, "I only eat ribeye steaks"! "Still not listening"! So, we nonchalantly meandered in the "Cantina"! My mind has already transferred to wondering, "I wonder if a Peach Marquita is possible"? The hostess a cute little college age brunette seated us with a huge smile. ("strange, she seems happy we are here. I must remember her name. 3 sangrias later she passed out table. Damn, what was her name? Abby, no..."!) Then "Top" appeared. Rather scatterbrained was my first observation. Yet, cheese dip appeared? We didn't even order that yet. Good call "Top". Now, my husband can appear to be an ass. He has perfected the art of being a live version of "Walter" the well known puppet belonging to the ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. He even has the same hairline, and most of the facial artwork know as "wrinkles"! I have even convinced his 2 secretaries to call him "Walter" in many occasions! My husband loves to "spar" with our servers. I more often than not, lean over and say, "the more you argue with him, then eventually let him win? The bigger your tip. Just keep the Cabernet coming in this side, unsweetened tea in his side. I married my DD"! Works every time. We get Great service. Server gets 50% tip! Win Win! But, this was not the case yesterday. "Top" took husband on without a hint from me I sat back and enjoyed Later in our meal husband left the table. I was answering a email from a employee of mine. I assumed he left for the men's room. Strange he did not give me a heads up? I kept hearing his voice behind me. After 20 mins I turned . My husband is sitting with a cute young later who I had earlier observed was reading. I remember my 45 years of being single. A book was always a must when going out to eat and enjoy a cocktail. Now, I am not a jealous wife. My husband is 75. Let him have his fun. But, AFTER ANOTHER 10 MINS I TURN, TAPPED HUSBAND ON THE SHOULDER AND SAID, "It's time for you too come on home now"! Husband says, I was just trying to get my tea refilled"! After a hour of us all laughing talking praying and swapping stories. We had a new friend. God Bless our Registered Nurses Before we left, "Top" our new friend, Husband, and I were all exchanging phone numbers, hugging, a few tears, and Thanking the Good Lord for Papasito Canteen, Dallas Texas. So, I said all that to say this. It's all in the attitude, theirs and YOURS.
