My family and I decided to try out the food here. We had the Fried Octopus and Oysters for our appetizers. The Octopus was perfectly cooked some of the Potatoes that were on the plate were not quite done, the sauce was delicious. They enjoyed the Oysters. The complimentary bread and whipped butter was delicious. The Ceasar salad was fresh and the croutons had a nice garlic flavor and not to hard. They are made in house from what I could tell.
My granddaughter ordered the fried shrimp with green beans from the kid's menu. The Breading was light and crispy and very good. The green beans were very bland though. The Tagatelli Pasta was good except the Octopus in the dish was not edible it was too tough. The Swordfish with Couscous salad was enjoyable and tasty. The Shrimp Brochette which I had was very good but a bit salty. The Dirty rice was spicy but not too spicy. I really enjoyed the dish. Our server Nicole was very nice and cleared the table in a timely manner after we were done with our plates during the meal. Our drinks were filled promptly. The atmosphere is pretty and comfortable. There is a Lobster tank so you can choose your lobster if you order one. The tables are quite small for four people. The restroom was nice and clean. The handicap bathroom conveniently has a sink, soap and towels in it.
We enjoyed our visit and I definitely recommend this location.

I’ve been to Pappadeaux before, and it honestly feels like it’s gone downhill. The food was still decent, but the overall dining experience just wasn’t very enjoyable this time.
The chairs were way too short for the tables, which made sitting and eating uncomfortable. On top of that, the table we were seated at was extremely small and could barely fit all of the food we ordered, so everything felt cramped. Our waiter was also barely around, making it difficult to get refills or ask for anything we needed.
The food itself was still good, which is why I’m giving it three stars, but between the uncomfortable seating, tiny table, and lack of attentive service, it wasn’t a very pleasant dining experience overall.

Great atmosphere. Excellent server and service. The food was superb. The dessert was okay. Turtle brownie has dark chocolate and i 100% do not like dark chocolate. The shrimp and crawfish fondue was superb. The cajun pasta was very good. The fried crawfish was fresh and hot and good. Great visit.
Second time coming into this location and The food was amazing! The service of our waiter For being very Attentive. However, the two star comes from the bust girl who was very rude. At the end of our dining she came over didn’t speak started grabbing stuff off of our table rudely. Had an attitude, While mumbling under her breath about food that was not finished. Even if the food was not finished, it was still paid for!! Your job was to simply speak, ask if we were completed with our dining and take the dishes away. She looked at me about 5’5, 5’6, Brown skin, Wears reading glasses, Under the age of 30, She had A light brown curly wig With highlights, I believe. Her wig was pulled back into a ponytail. Again, this situation happened yesterday July 13th between 5pm 5:30??
We all know customer service isn’t for everyone, but if you know it’s not for you, Then you should not have taken the position.

We visited the Pappadeaux on 18349 Dallas Parkway, and it was an outstanding experience! Our server, Javon, was exceptional. He greeted our table with a genuine smile, was attentive throughout our meal, and made sure we had everything we needed. His friendly attitude and excellent customer service truly made our dining experience enjoyable.
After a disappointing visit to the Richardson location over Father’s Day weekend, where both the food and service fell short, this visit completely restored my confidence in Pappadeaux. The difference was night and day. Thank you, Javon, for providing such outstanding hospitality..we’ll definitely be back!
