This is my Wife and I’s go to place when we want good quality Mexican food without breaking the bank. Margs are solid and the people are wonderful to interact with.

La Comida is truly one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Dallas! Every single time I come in, the owner is there and goes above and beyond to make me feel like I’m part of the family. The VIP treatment and personal attention are unmatched, and you can tell how much he genuinely cares about his guests and his restaurant. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is great, and the hospitality is what keeps me coming back. I honestly cannot recommend La Comida enough. If you’re looking for amazing Mexican food and an experience where you’re treated like family, this is the place!

I been wanting to check this place out for a while and I am glad I did. I came in and was greeted with a smile. Plenty of seating and amazing service. The beef fajitas and tropical ceviche were delicious. I loved the happy hour margaritas and the frozen flamingo drink. Neriah took care of everything and I will definitely be coming back with my family.

Perhaps it was my fault for getting sucked into a cute looking spot without doing more research. Unfortunately I was worried the moment the queso arrived at the table and the eating experience only declined from there. The michelada was very bland, seemingly made with tomato juice only. The aforementioned queso was globby and unsurprisingly, also bland. The fajitas were a hopeful move, and while the prolific amount of onions and few slices of bell peppers were nice and charred, the chicken and beef combo left much to be desired. While the rice and beans were passable, the flour tortillas were clearly store bought. About the ground beef my fiancé remarked “this tastes like a dog jerky treat smells.” I’m sorry to leave such a bad review as the staff and atmosphere were very nice, but the food was absolutely awful. It’s sad that in the heart of Oak Cliff that this establishment doesn’t appear to use anything local or homemade. If you have guests visiting from the Midwest who are extremely spice averse then this would be great for them, but if you are looking for anything remotely flavorful, I’d pass.
