All groceries are wonderful. Employees were great but you desperately need mobility carts. I'd come more if their was some. I can't get around because of my disability and hard to shop when your in a wheelchair. Can't get as much as I'd like to.

This is to inform The store manager by the name of Jeremey regarding an employee by the name of Lacey who was working self-checkout at Joe V’s on May 17, 2026. I checked out at approximately 6:38 PM after already waiting in the self-checkout line for over 25 minutes.
While I was in the process of scanning my items, Lacey repeatedly accused me of not scanning merchandise. I explained multiple times that I was not finished checking out yet, but she continued to interrupt me and stated, “I just gotta make sure you don’t steal anything.” I found this extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.
I was wearing a “City of Dallas” shirt and had no reason to steal anything. Her assumptions and accusations were unnecessary and embarrassing. She then stated that she needed to go through all of my bags. I informed her that she would not be going through my bags and told her she could simply stand there and watch me finish scanning my items. However, she continued canceling my transaction while I was actively trying to pay.
To avoid further confrontation and embarrassment, I decided to leave self-checkout and go through a regular cashier line instead. My total in the cashier line came out to the exact same amount: $64.17. So I would genuinely like to understand what exactly she believed I was stealing.
The entire interaction made me feel singled out, uncomfortable, and publicly accused without cause. Customers should not be treated this way while simply trying to purchase their items. I believe this situation needs to be addressed professionally so that no other customer has to experience this type of treatment.

I checked this place out because of the stories I heard about the great prices. Wasn't too impressed by the prices nor the selections of food items. The meat prices where just has pricey has the other grocery stores. I found myself sipping over some meat products that i know is a little bit cheaper else where. I did save a few cents because of getting the off brand products. But the cents I did save had to go in my gas tank because how far away it is from my home. I will stick will stay with my neighborhood grocery store. It's pretty much in my backyard and I can save that cent on gas. So to save a few cent is not worth it. I'd be out a lot more gas for me trying to save a cent than shopping where's it's convenient for me and saving on gas...

Affordable grocery store however, many times things are out of stock. But if you can get items when they are available, items are well priced.

My mom and I have shopped here many times, but today we were extremely disappointed by how we were treated. When we entered the store, dragon fruit was clearly advertised near the entrance for $2.97 each. However, when it was rung up at checkout, we were charged by the pound instead.
My mother pointed this out to the cashier, but instead of acknowledging the mistake, after being shown a picture of the sign, she was dismissive and rude, saying she would not sell them at the posted price. We then spoke to another cashier, who said they had only been selling them by the pound. The manager also repeated that they would not honor the price shown on the sign.
What was most upsetting was that not one employee apologized for the confusion or for their mistake. Instead, we were made to feel as though we were in the wrong for expecting to pay the price that was clearly advertised.
How many other customers may have purchased these items thinking they were getting one price, only to be charged something different without realizing.
I understand mistakes happen, but poor customer service and refusing to take accountability is unacceptable. A simple apology and better handling of the situation would have gone a long way.
