  The golden tacos are the best here! Cocktails are only $7 during HH. The Mexican Martini comes in a shaker and makes 2 drinks. The soft serve margarita is perfect to share with friends especially when it’s hot outside.

  I was in the restaurant today and it was extremely hot no air circulating. I put my portable fan on the table, but I looked around and many of the customers were fanning. I spoke with the management and he attempted to adjust the air but later I heard the bartender to say that The air was out why would you have a restaurant open In Dallas with no air. My friend that was with me, got extremely overheated and sick due to the conditions of the restaurant.

  I’ve tried giving this place a chance 3 times, but the food and service have been consistently underwhelming. The food is okay but overpriced. The first time I came, the two people at the host stand were talking and didn’t acknowledge us, so we waited a while to be seated despite the restaurant being pretty empty. The second time, we sat at the bar and had a pretty bad experience with the male bartender. He didn’t greet us, rudely told me to move, and later threw away a drink we had paid for without saying anything. I came for a third time yesterday, and while our server was nice, they kept forgetting about us. This place’s saving grace is the drinks and the cute restaurant decor/layout.

  I normally don't write reviews because I know they impact a business. But man, this place and its owner deserve some feedback because the location and concept have so much potential and your staff is letting you down. We sat at the bar Saturday evening. We had reservations but the place wasn't busy - should've been a sign. The first bartender never acknowledged us...the entire evening. Eventually, about 10 minutes later a second young man came by, sat down two glasses of water, and said "I'll be back". He then proceeded to the other side of the bar to finish what seemed a personal conversation with patrons who'd already paid out. Eventually he came back, took our drink order and we ordered queso as an appetizer. Fairly quickly the queso was brought out...long before the young man or bar tender even started our drinks. Unfortunately, no chips were brought out. So we sat there, for perhaps another 5-10 minutes while the queso chilled until eventually, the young man looked up from his personal conversation with the other bar tender and simply said..."I'll get some chips". After delivering the chips he only then began our drinks and my wife and I got to watch as he chased a rolling olive all over the bar top that he would eventually put in one of our drinks. The other olive he pulled out of the jar with his fingers. We made no comments. The drinks were fine...more than fine, they were good if you can overlook the issues with assembly... and since we'd been waiting for now, perhaps 20 minutes, we weren't ready to start that process over by asking for a drinking with an olive that hadn't been manhandled. We ordered our entrees. They came out quickly but minus serving ware that we had to fetch ourselves. It is apparent that the runners don't have a role in the customer service...they're there to bring out food. Period. And they do that singular function with great efficiency. My enchiladas were fine...nothing exceptional but pretty standard Tex-Mex that I did enjoy. The rice was really well done. My wife got a bowl of some sort that she immediately regretted. I tasted it. It was...bland, but passible. She blamed herself for ordering a bowl in a Tex-Mex joint. We had a few more drinks that came out quicker than the first and got to watch as a server who was picking up SoftServe ice cream at the bar chased boba balls rolling all over the bar top, scooped them up, and put them in the bowl of ice cream he then carried away. Evidently, 'seasoning' the accoutrements on the bar top is standard practice. We closed out with a standard 20% tip and left - glad we'd tried the place and agreed that we would not come back, which is unfortunate because it's a great space. It's sad - someone makes a huge investment in a place with a great concept, great location, and tons of potential and the simple matter of a staff who doesn't care ruins it. It did feel like an unsupervised operation so maybe more management engagement would help? I'm really sorry to have to post this and would've loved to have been writing a glowing review instead.

  The food was delicious, everything came out fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was really nice as well. Our server, Michelle, was amazing! she was super sweet, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She definitely made our experience even better! Most definitely be coming back. 10/10!
