Harwood Arms is the ninth concept in Dallas’ Harwood District exemplifying the best of the British Isles. Pouring pints of Guinness, featuring the finest whiskeys, and touting the tastiest fish and chips, Harwood Arms is the District pub where the greatest minds gather and drink alike.
Harwood Arms is the first of several concepts to open on La Rue Perdue, a whimsical cobblestone alleyway located at the base of the office tower Harwood No. 10. The District pub is the ninth neighborhood addition to the Harwood District and is an escape from the ordinary by Harwood Hospitality Group.

- PSPeter Simpson4 days ago5.0Highly recommend as a great place to watch the World Cup! But a special shoutout to the staff at Harwood Arms who took care of me after I passed out from heat and dehydration. I was standing up for close to three hours watching Mexico v. England outside in 95 degree heat and hadn't eaten all day. I planned to eat at halftime and didn't make it through extra time and collapsed. The staff had a thorough protocol for assessing my condition and quickly got me ice water and a towel with ice to cool me down. I was able to sit as I recovered and they watched over me the whole time, helping me to safely get back on my feet fairly quickly to Uber home. They were diligent and caring and I'm super grateful to the team at Harwood Arms. Thank you! I can't wait to go back, but I will try to get a seat inside next time!

La primer noche nos recibieron muy amablemente, la segunda noche no nos dejaron sentar porque estábamos con los chicos, les dijimos que era una incoherencia porque la noche anterior si habíamos podido cenar con los chicos. En ambas noches estaban pasando partidos del mundial y había gente comiendo afuera y con un ambiente amigable. La encargada se mantuvo firme y dijo que con los chicos no podíamos sentarnos por si algún cliente se ponía violento (excusa total). A todo esto tenían un seguridad de dos metros. Fue realmente insólito lo que pasó y cuando nos retiramos la encargada se burló de nosotros. Comimos muy bien en el restaurante de al lado las dos noches siguientes. Claramente no volvemos a este restaurante.

Bizarre Having done that, then sat there trying to get served for 10 minutes and failed. One staff member said she was unable to serve me as her shift had ended. Went back to the front door staff and they said they’d send someone. Nobody came. Third time went back to them and repeated it. They told me to order from the congested bar. At that point I walked out. Just not good enough.

The lady grabbed us by the arm and said they can’t let us inside to the place we ARE PLAYING MONEY TO ALL NIGHT!! Service by the waitress was great and the food was alright basic bar food.

As someone who lived in England for over two decades, this place brought back a bit of that feeling of home. The atmosphere was great for the match lively, welcoming, and relaxed. The shepherd’s pie was excellent, the drinks were spot on, and everything exceeded expectations for a first visit. Our server was genuinely lovely and made the experience even better. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name, but her hospitality certainly didn’t go unnoticed. Looking forward to coming back.
