Gloria’s® Latin Cuisine is an authentic Salvadoran and Tex-Mex restaurant founded in Dallas, Texas in 1986 by Gloria and Jose Fuentes. For 40 years, the Fuentes family has been sharing the flavors they were raised on, from their abuela’s kitchen in El Salvador to your table in Texas. What began as a small family restaurant has grown into a beloved Texas institution, now with 23 locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. At Gloria’s, every dish carries a story of tradition, love and the taste of home. Guests come for our authentic Salvadoran dishes, award-winning margaritas, and lively nightlife, but stay for the warmth, connection and hospitality that make Gloria’s a place where Latin flavors feel like home.

I didn't manage to get a great photo of my carne asada, but the food here is consistently amazing. Every visit delivers fantastic tasting dishes, which keeps me coming back. I love strolling through Bishop Arts after a meal, it’s always a vibrant experience. Keep in mind, weekends can get pretty busy. Parking can be tricky too, since there’s only valet available, and parking in Bishop Arts is often a challenge. For convenience, I recommend parking in the lot across the street near Brazil Cafe.

Gloria’s is such a vibe! I always enjoy coming here. I love the drinks, the food, and the atmosphere. I’ve been here multiple times, and it never disappoints. The only thing my partner and I noticed during this visit was that when we walked in, the three hostesses didn’t greet us. They simply asked, “How many?” while looking us up and down. It wasn’t a huge deal since we came for the food, not the service at the door, but a warm greeting and a smile would definitely make the experience even better. 😊 By the way, our server did a great job.

I’m very disappointed in my experience today. Gloria’s has been a favorite of mine for many years, which makes this even more frustrating. I’ve been on a significant weight-loss journey and wanted to keep my meal simple. I ordered a chicken breast with a side of beans and a side of rice—nothing more. However, I was charged for chicken fajitas when all I received was about five pieces of chicken. To make matters worse, I have an allergy to onions. The entire bottom of the plate was covered with onions, and the beans also contained onions, making much of the meal inedible for me. I expected better attention to a simple order and a food allergy concern. Unfortunately, this experience has left me very disappointed, and I will not be returning.

BEWARE OF PARKING TRAP! Glorias did not have sufficient parking (on a Wednesday evening) which forced us to park across the street. Parking in front of those businesses is NOT FREE! The whole lot requires payment. And if you're late by even a minute, they will charge you a $97 (basically $100) fee! You thought a $15 marg was expensive? Wait till the conniving thieves who own that lot squeeze you for more
