About

Italian Restaurant
When we first opened Dolce Riviera in 2016, we recollected experiences from our favorite summer vacations along the Italian Riviera. We remembered the scent of fresh lemon trees, the Italian fashion, the sea breeze, and the unmatched taste of fresh pasta paired with full bodied wines. We sought insights from the best Italian talent and the concept of Dolce Riviera was born.

The Food, Service and Atmosphere were spectacular! The only downside was that this fun place to dine is closing in 1 week.😔 I hope they reopen in another location 🙏🏻 because we had a great time!

Dolce Riviera is normally one of the best Italian restaurants in the DFW metroplex. My party of 3 dined there on Monday, 5/11, and 2 of the items were ordered were either not available or had to be modified because the restaurant ran out of them. My favorite dish - the one I get every time - is the cacio e pepe served tableside in the cheese wheel. The restaurant was out of the shaved truffles that accompany it. And those are the best part! We ordered the roasted apples for dessert, and the restaurant was out of that as well. Service was excellent, as always, and the server was apologetic about the food issues. It is extremely disappointing that a restaurant on the scale of Dolce is running out of ingredients for one of their signature dishes. Will I go back? Sure. I just hope they do a better job of planning the menu this time.

Visited this brunch spot on Mother’s Day and it was a wonderful experience. The ambience is truly amazing and the buffet was enjoyable. Our server Sarah was attentive, polite, and incredibly helpful — she checked in regularly on food, drinks, and anything else we needed, going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. When it started raining heavily as we were leaving, Genon did a great job assisting us on our way out. I would definitely recommend this place. Not just for the food and atmosphere, but the level of service truly amazed me.

The first time we came here, it was really good that’s why we were a little surprised with our experience the second time around that I felt it necessary to leave a review. Our group felt like our server did not want to serve us and I’m not sure if it’s either because we were a large group or if it’s because we were black. Not only were we rushed, we could feel her frustrations with us . Karma, I believe was the name of our server tonight. She wasn’t an entirely bad server, it’s just that we could tell she wasn’t really interested in serving our group and even rushed us at the end to get everyone’s check and instead of offering to box the food , she said “usually we box the food but I feel like you guys are nice enough to do it yourselves”. She really didn’t have to say anything considering we were already feeling the customer service was lacking. Overall, this wasn’t a great experience and the food wasnt that good either for the service we got .

Worst experience ever. The cannoli French toast was very mid and very overcooked and dry. Parking was the worst part of this whole experience. The valet took my car keys and handed me a card when I went to retrieve my vehicle and handed him the card. He had no idea what car I had. I told him the vehicle model and he came back and brought a red Tesla model Y or X. I let him know that wasn’t my car and he was like I can’t find your key. He goes around takes his sweet time to go find my car. He ends up stopping to go ask my friend for her number. Meanwhile, this whole time we’re waiting and there’s a line behind me for people to drop off their cars and pick up their cars. He comes back to tell me that my key is not in the cupholder and my car is unlocked and I told him that does not matter. I still need a key in order to drive and he was like yeah I get that and he tries to hand me the red Tesla’s key card. I told him that it doesn’t work like that we all have different key cards. He keeps opening all the drawers at his valet stand and looks through it and he has me look through it and he finally finds it and looks at me and goes so were you stressed? Such an odd experience, please find new valet. I’ve never had this experience.
