- KRKeyaira Robinson3 days ago1.0I placed an online order at Chipotle for lunch on 08/31/26. I ordered a bowl and added a side of chips. I saw on the website that they now have Chili-Lime Chips, so I planned to ask about them when I arrived. However, when ordering online, there was no option to select Chili-Lime Chips—only the regular chips. When I arrived to pick up my order, I checked my bag and had the regular chips. I asked the lady at the register if they had the Chili-Lime Chips, and she said yes. Before she could even finish answering me, a male employee interrupted her and told me that I had to order them online. I explained that I did order online and that the website did not give me the option to choose the Chili-Lime Chips. He kept going back and forth with me, saying he didn’t know why I couldn’t order them because another customer had apparently just done it. I politely offered to show him what I was seeing on the website, and he said yes. I showed him, and after seeing that there was literally no option for the Chili-Lime Chips, he finally asked, “Well, do you want them?” Yes! That’s exactly what I had been asking for. What bothered me most was how unnecessarily rude and unprofessional the interaction was. I had already paid for the chips. Why was it so difficult to simply exchange the regular chips for the Chili-Lime Chips once it was clear that the online ordering system wasn’t giving me the option? This could have been handled so easily with basic customer service and communication. Instead, I was made to feel like I was asking for something unreasonable when I had already paid for my order. Very disappointing experience. Chipotle needs to do better with the customer service.

The cashier seemed frustrated, tired, or just not very welcoming, which made the experience uncomfortable. They also didn't have Chipotle's specialty T Beverages like Mandarin Agua Fresca, Berry Agua Fresca, Hibiscus Lemonade, or even Lemonade. On top of that, the portions were noticeably smaller than what I usually get at other Chipotle locations. I gave this place more than one chance, but nothing changed. I won't be coming back.

I did receive a few extra pieces of chicken, doubling the price of my taco. I could have purchased an entire additional taco, which would have provided a greater quantity of chicken and other ingredients, and would have been 40 cents less expensive?%#@
