I arrived at 10:47 a.m. and asked whether breakfast was still being served. The employee said no because everything had been pulled at 10:45. Since we were positioned away from the main menu board, I asked to see a lunch menu. She replied that she only had a breakfast menu with her—even though breakfast was supposedly over and lunch was being served. When I asked to pull forward to view the menu, she responded, “Do you know what you want?” I explained again that I needed to see the menu before ordering. After reaching the menu board, I ordered a kids’ meal and requested fries without salt. I was told, “We can’t do that.” When I asked why, she said they had been instructed not to prepare fries without salt. She then explained that this location is a franchise and franchises “don’t do those kinds of things.” That explanation is unacceptable. If a restaurant operates under the Chick-fil-A name, customers should be able to expect the same basic level of service, courtesy, preparedness, and reasonable accommodation associated with the brand. I drove just two miles to the Chick-fil-A near Central Parkway, where my request was accommodated without hesitation and the service was excellent. The difference between the two locations was remarkable. This was not simply about breakfast or unsalted fries. It was the employee’s dismissive attitude, lack of preparedness, and unwillingness to assist. This location fell far below the standard I have come to expect from Chick-fil-A. Extremely disappointing.

While ordering we asked for a spicy chicken sandwich with no pickles add pepper jack cheese and for some reason the girl taking our order (Jackie) put it in as a spicy deluxe sandwich and when we let her know we were hoping to get a spicy chicken sandwich not the deluxe she kept being snarky and basically wouldn’t let up on fixing our order. At some point we got tired of trying to correct the order that we are paying for and let it be. When we asked for the total she said that we can ask and get the total at the window. I don’t know in what world a paying customer should get treated with so much attitude, but if it wasn’t for the line I was about ready to drive off once we got out of the line rather than even trying to communicate my correct order with the lady at the window. Once getting to the window we were helped by a different lady (Audrey) who was super kind, she not only listened to us, but she corrected the order, doubled checked that everything was ok and made sure we were content with what we received. Thank you so much Audrey for being such an attentive team member!
