Slightly negative feelings due to the largely overpriced food. Food was good, but for the price it doesn’t feel exceptional enough to warrant it. There are much better places to go for nice meals that have much more interesting atmospheres and menu

I recently visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration and left feeling disappointed. I looked at the menu before arriving and saw the prices. I ordered a salad, and the server asked if I wanted to add any protein. Usually, add-on prices are listed somewhere on the menu so customers know, but this menu didn't have them. I also thought maybe the server would tell me the extra cost of the protein since it wasn't listed, but to my surprise, neither of those things happened. So you can imagine my surprise when I received my bill and saw that the protein (SHRIMP) was $22 USD. The salad itself was $17, and for a plate of vegetables, I was shocked. The salad was good, don’t get me wrong, but your add-ons shouldn’t cost more than the main dish! I asked for prawns and got maybe 3-4, and it was $22. I told the server how I felt, but she didn’t seem concerned at all. I get it; she’s “just doing her job” and not responsible for pricing, but a heads-up would’ve been nice. Why offer something without giving all the details?! I wasn’t even thinking about protein until it was mentioned to me.

The food for the most part is good. I ordered the New York Strip Steak. I ordered medium, It was cooked a tad over. But seasoned perfectly. The side was the over cooked carrots in. Honey glaze sauce. They were disappointing. Served at room temperature, and cut in very weird sizes. So some were cooked, some not no much. No honey to be tasted at all. They definitely needed salt.
The presentation for all the food served was just plain. No thought went into making the dishes look nice at all. My plate with the steak had some sort of purée squash. Very almost unappetizing to look at.
We also ordered a side of the Cheesey potatoes with bacon. They were actually undercooked. So crunchy, in other words. Plus they came about 10 minutes after the rest of our food.
All the food came fast enough after we ordered that it had to have been pre cooked. Probably why my steak was over cooked. I cannot explain the potatoes. Perhaps they ran out and had to microwave more?
Most likely I will not return,

We had a dinner reservation for a work group of 12, and it was a great experience. It’s upscale, and you get you what you pay for. Delicious food, fantastic alcohol list (excellent wine and liquor lists, great cocktails and mocktails), and good service. Everything we had - from the seafood tower apps, to the steaks, to the creme brûlées - was excellent.
It’s a little loud, but it doesn’t take away from the experience. Valet only.
Was looking for a restaurant in town that served prime rib. Didn't think I would hit this diamond in the rough.
First time here, won't be the last.
After calling, was able to get a walk in before peak time. The valet was quick, polite, and responsible.
The place is just like an amazing house with floors, rooms, and decor was bright but intimate.
The hosts were nice and promptly got us seated.
After we got seated, John helped us go over the menu. The service was amazing (also from the other wait staff who were continuously there to see if we needed anything). We ordered the tortellini and escargot. Sauce was amazing.
The ceasar has fresh anchovies!
Lil John was the man, experienced, well versed, friendly, and attentive.
Before our mains came, James came over and welcomed us. Amazing, welcoming, and just an all around a genuine guy.
Prime rib itself was great, had a good beefy flavor with au jus and horse radish sauce. The crust from being marinated was delightful. Potatoes were good too, almost like home fries with caramelized onions. (Forgot to take a pic). Would call ahead to see if they have though.
Dessert, I am a fan of peanut butter cups, so we got that one, but they all looked pretty tasty and decadent.
Overall the experience was, pleasant, comforting, you could hear (not loud), food was great, and would definitely recommend if you are in town.
