I had the rudest service from a lady working there. The carhop employee was very nice at least. After getting our order, I asked for 3 additional sauces: Honey Mustard, Ranch, and Marinara. Corn dogs usually come with honey mustard, and I forgot to select the option. She said we would have to pay for it. Even if I forgot to add it on the app, they always gave me one since it doesn't cost anything in the app when you order.
She kept repeating that we would have to pay $0.27 per sauce. I agreed, and said will pay for all three. She then came out herself rudely telling us again that we would have to pay even though we repeated THREE times that we would pay.
She then continued to mess up the order for THREE sauces, and when the carhop came back out, he explained again that we would have to pay, even though we kept saying we would pay the $0.81 for the sauces. It was like she made him say it again.
Horrible service, especially considering I even tipped, yet I still couldn’t get a single honey mustard for my corn dog without paying $0.27 for it.
Employees here are rude. They have gotten my drink order wrong for drinks with added flavors and real fruit. One night I noticed and tried to get the runner's attention but she acted like she couldn't hear. The drive in power in the stalls wasnt working so I had to get in the long drive thru line only for them to make a big deal out of the receipt when they DO NOT make it a habit to give receipts from online orders when they bring them out. I showed my phone and the cashier wanted to take the phone, no ma'am they have their own access to order and don't need my phone.
Today, I made a mistake of not adding a drink carrier to my order. I had 7 drinks but I have had a worker come out with no carrier before so I simply wanted to mention that I left it off and ask for a carrier. I spoke to get the runner's attention. She acted like she couldn't hear me so I blew and she looked shooed and put her finger up to say one minute. Of course she didn't come out 😏 but another young lady (she looks new and was pleasant) did bring the order in drink carriers so I appreciate that.
This location could be so much better if the runner, manager, and cashiers had better customer service habits. For the cooks, I know mistakes happen so that's okay but it escalates based on how staff handles it.
There seems to be a lot of bad reviews but I personally had pretty good experiences here.
Yeah, maybe once or twice my order was bafflingly wrong or the wait time was tooooo long... but im willing to forgive those hicups because the food is genuinely good, Sonic is actually one of my favorite fast food places currently.

***Posted over a week ago and still no response from corporate or the location owner***
My family had stopped visiting this location because of repeated poor customer service experiences. I recently decided to give it another chance because my last few visits had been positive thanks to an older gentleman who consistently provided excellent, friendly service.
Unfortunately, this visit (July 12th) reminded me why we stopped coming.
I arrived about 15 minutes before Happy Hour and immediately encountered a rude, dismissive attitude from the woman taking orders over the speaker. I ordered a medium Cherry Limeade Slush with light syrup, a medium Blackberry Slush with Nerds, and several food items.
The young man working the drive-thru window was courteous, respectful, and professional throughout the entire interaction. He deserves recognition because he handled the situation with patience and professionalism.
After leaving the window, I checked my order and discovered both slushes were incorrect. The Cherry Limeade had clearly been made with regular syrup instead of the light syrup I requested, and the Blackberry Slush didn't taste right. I returned to the drive-thru, and the employee immediately offered to remake the drinks.
That's when the experience took a turn for the worse. The manager insisted I would have to pay for another drink simply because it was being remade, even though I was only asking for the drinks I had already purchased to be made correctly. She then incorrectly claimed I had ordered a small drink when I had actually ordered and paid for a medium. Instead of verifying my order, she argued with me and instructed the employee to give me a small replacement.
Rather than addressing me professionally, the manager refused to come to the drive-thru window and instead made comments from the side where I could hear her. At that point, I no longer wanted replacement drinks—I simply wanted to return my order and receive a refund because the customer service had become so unacceptable.
The employee ended up remaking the Blackberry Slush yet again and quietly apologized for the situation. It was obvious he was doing his best despite being put in a difficult position by management. When I asked for the manager's name, I could hear her telling him, "Don't give her my name. She doesn't need my name." He eventually provided it, even though it was already printed on my receipt.
Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What was disappointing wasn't that my order needed to be remade—it was the manager's attitude, refusal to take accountability, and unwillingness to treat a customer with basic courtesy and respect. The young man working the drive-thru deserves recognition for remaining professional throughout the entire interaction. Unfortunately, after giving this location another chance, I won't be returning.

I still like sonic food and the customer service was fine but for god sake please keep a better watch on your fries and tots. The ones I got were more grease than potatoe by the time I got there. If you can fix this you can save a lot of people a heart attack. Thanks
