Oh, what a delightful experience I had! My manager and I decided to do the thrilling online order for pick-up, because Houston's weather is just a breeze—literally, it feels like flames in there. So I gracefully stepped into the store to retrieve our order, only to find that my boss had ordered a drink that clearly had been sitting out for some time—no ice left at all. No worries, I simply asked politely if it could be remade. A lovely gentleman and a young lady cheerfully agreed, handed me a fresh cup, and we all shared a moment of mutual respect.
Then I approached the sandwich artist and inquired if Jimmy Johns had discontinued Spicy Mustard—imagine my surprise at the warm reception I received! The red-haired lady behind the counter snapped rudely that I should look at the "Dijon Mustard" packages at the end of the sandwich station—so helpful. I couldn’t help but wonder where the customer service went, and I boldly asked, "Where’s the customer service?" Her reply? “You can get out and have a nice day!” Truly heartwarming. As I believe strongly in the importance of customers for a business, I was honestly touched by her kindness.
When I mentioned she was being rude, she proudly owned it—"Yeah, that’s me." Classic. I asked to speak with the manager, and she cheerfully informed me she was the general manager—what a charming leader. All of this over a simple question that could have been resolved in seconds. I even drove six miles just to be greeted with such warmth, which was, of course, totally acceptable. To add the cherry on top, my sandwich was sloppy and missing the condiments I had asked for—and I just had to call customer service. Waited seven minutes on hold, only for the call to drop—talk about top-tier service. Alot of cross contamination!
I’d love to discuss my absolutely wonderful experience with someone—maybe next time I can order directly from the staff’s friendly attitude.
