- EREarl Risero4 days ago1.0There was a time when I thought very highly of H-E-B but today I learned that you cannot depend on them for a true culture dedicated to Good customer service. Three weeks ago, I purchased a bag of fresh pet dog food that was spoiled upon receipt. Instead of returning a stinky bag of food to H-E-B, I called fresh pet and they kindly sent me a coupon for $13.99 so I could buy a replacement. When I checked out today with another bag and presented the coupon, the cashier apologized that they could not honor it because it was not in their system. The supervisor came over and gave it another try and the computer and apologetically told me the same thing On the way out, I again told my story to the assistant manager, who parroted the same story Obviously, three weeks later I don’t have the bad bag of food, or the receipt, so I’m just out of luck. Nobody there gave a darn On the bright side, I now have a great story to tell at our next employee meeting. I’m proud to say that I don’t have one single person working for me that would have allowed This to happen at our company.

I wasn’t familiar with the law that you couldn’t buy wine before 10am and it was 9:45am. She took the wine away and didn’t even ask if I wanted to wait to purchase it just simple told me to pay for the flowers and be on my way.
