Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Although we were missing two items from our order (We are all human and mistakes happen, no big deal, things can be fixed) the manager here did everything to make things right. All I had to do was call and he had everything ready for my husband to pick up. The entire staff was very kind and although very busy, they were all attentive and helpful. We appreciate the great service and the manager going out of his way for us!

Always a good experience here. I thought it was funny that as I waited for my order I placed a small rubber Jesus figure in an inconspicuous place near the condiments. It didn't take them 5 minutes to find and remove it. I'm disappointed in that. I understand it but still disappointed. I won't likely go back because of that.

The food was served hot and tasted fresh-to-order. While other chains have been struggling with quality lately, this Whataburger location really stands even. The fries were perfect—crispy, hot, and exactly the kind of quality Texas would be proud of.
