Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- ABAlex BuenrostroSep 3, 20261.0The lobby closed at 11pm despite the door showing 1am. There was a customer inside waiting for food, but all the doors were locked. Instead of speaking to us, the manager walked to the opposite door to let the other customer out. I understand closing the lobby closing early if they were short handed- or whatever other reason it may have been, but atleast speak to us instead of deliberately ignoring my fiance and I. We weren't acknowledged whatsoever- no eye contact, no explanation, nothing. Its even more frustrating that we frequent this location a few times a week and managment knows who we are. To completely ignore us by obviously using the other door was straight up rude. I'd suggest at the very least put a sign up if you're not going to speak to your regulars or customers in general. We wound up going to the location on baldwin instead.
