Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Thanks for immediately greeting me when I came in to your establishment and making me feel welcome and visible. I'm sure this is policy. After all I chose you to come in and spend my money. Food was great, service was great, manager was great and it is reflected in the behaviors of the employees. They are attentive and recognize customers. I was completely satisfied. Just left the Bay Whataburger and the manager there is bad and it is reflected in employee performance. Terrible experience there. Bad manager there. Manager there appears to think customers exist for her success and livelyhood. Not that the restaurant exists due to patronage of customers. That manager doesn't want to deal with customer concerns. She wants them hidden and ignored. She ruined my Sunday morning. Thanks to the manager at S Padre Island and Old Brownsville road for being a total opposite and making my day brighter. Objectively, this place gets 5 stars all around. I felt at home.

I really try not to complain when it comes to fast food. Some things are necessary, i paid full price for my meal. So why am i not getting a full box of fries!? The most delicious part of the meal and yall shorted my order and my friend's order... and all she got was fries! Come on, tighten up yall wrong for that. Visiting from houston and if I come back to corpus I'll skip this location for sure

Went through drive thru at 5am on our way out of town. Worst experience. First, guy taking order was near impossible to hear. Whatever, we made it work. Got a large coffee...lid was not on well and it popped open as we went to put it in the cupholder. Wiped that up, went to put the coffee down. Lid is apparently faulty, pops off again and this time entire cup of coffee pours all over my husband's leg, burning him, and all over car. They finally notice inside that we need help, blankly ask if we need anything. Um, napkins maybe? A new cup of coffee? He hands us a few napkins...not nearly enough to clean up an entire cup of coffee. There's no actual reaction....no "are you ok", nothing. We ask for a manager, the car is for sure going to have to be detailed and we need information on how to submit a claim since their faulty lid caused the issue. (New cup of coffee has a way more secured lid, doesn't even look the same, other was clearly messed up.) Manager comes over, zero customer service skills. Again no "are you okay", "how can I help", not even "do you need more napkins". The receipt got covered in coffee so we ask for a reprint, she just says we need the unit number and writes it on a food wrapper. Ridiculous handling of what was a painful experience that should have warranted better response. Finally we drive over to the bank (it was raining, so we wanted under cover) to clean up. Usually they warm the cinnamon rolls, son's was stone cold and slightly hard. Only one fork in bag when we ordered food that needed two. Just a terrible experience. Won't be going here again. Pity, morning shift has been good in the past, but the whole flat, uncaring reaction we got ruined this location forever.

Mark or Marc Gonzalez was on point. Very professional and made sure my mobile order was on the dot. Great service! Food was as ordered. Love this location, even though there is a closer location to me, but prefer this location due to the friendly service.
