If you’re craving authentic Hawaiian food, Toa’s Ohana is about as close as you can get without hopping on a plane to Hawaii. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family—which is exactly what “Ohana” means. I routinely drive all the way from Round Rock to The Cove just to eat here, and it’s worth every mile. The food is so ’ono (delicious) that it truly “broke da mouth!” Every dish is packed with authentic island flavors that keep me coming back. The service is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere makes you feel at home, and the food consistently exceeds expectations. After eating at Toa’s Ohana, every other Hawaiian restaurant gets compared to the standard they’ve set—and very few come close. If you’re looking for authentic Hawaiian comfort food in Texas, this place is a must-visit. Mahalo, Toa’s Ohana, for bringing a taste of the islands to Texas!

I went here the day before, father today. And they helped me understand what some of the menu items were, which really helped me out a lot. I see. The food itself was absolutely amazing. I brought it in. My father seemed to enjoy it quite well. I had, I couldn't even tell you the names of them but I know it's like cabbage in meat. Pork meat, cabbage itself some pork ribs. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was really good. Totally good, definitely gonna have to try that again. And they be cooking, you can smell it be cooking. They'd be doing a great job. I know the way to get in naturally is kind of hard but I've got in there with no problems. And if you, if you blink, you'll miss it

I come see you guys at least once a week - I don’t think a restaurant has ever brought me the level of comfort that yalls does. I appreciate everything you guys do and I’m ngl, gonna cry a bit when I move to Belton - but I’ll be back at least once a week even still. Fair prices for absolutely incredible food. Never misses.

Ate as party of five adults one child. Floors were severely sticky, very uncomfortable to walk on. Teriyaki chicken smelled weird we did not eat it. It was stiff and was grey, not pretty like the pictures, and no char edges or grill markings. Katsu chicken was decent, although on the mini plate for the child, it was over fried, some pieces were dry and chewy. Egg rolls were okay, drinks were bottled, Hawaiian rolls were soft and fresh, spring salad was very good and super fresh. Sauces were good, but unmarked, and we had to open them and smell them before passing them around. Burger and fries was so-so, which brings me to the worst part of the experience: The loco moco with rice and gravy… The frozen hamburger patties were very dense, thin, and unseasoned. The gravy was not the rich and flavorful beef gravy I imagined, it was gelatinous and weirdly sweet, having no other taste. To make matters worse, the rice under it went a bit soggy, and there was no salt or pepper on the egg or in the entire dish. The egg was cooked over easy exactly as I asked. (Update two days later: took loco moco out of fridge, cut up meat&egg, mixed in with 3/4 of the rice portion, all the gravy, added moderate amount of seasoning and salt&pepper, heated through in microwave and it was edible. Still…) The best part of the whole meal was my mom’s food. It might have been mochiko chicken. It was juicy chunks of dark meat chicken coated in some kind of sweet coating, fried, then put over rice that had seaweed/sesame seasoning and teriyaki… this was one of those meals at a restaurant you could tell they put care toward. Highlights: Mochiko chicken, the spring salad, some of the katsu chicken, and the sweet chili sauce.
