Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
My husband was admitted May 27, 2026 from Memorial Hermann the Woodlands. To make a long story short, the treatment we received at MH Woodlands was short of a disaster. He was there from Jan 26 until he was moved here. In that entire time he did not get the intimate care that he has received here. The wound care person Ms. Alicia, from the first day I met her, was kind and caring and most of all aggressive in her treatment of the pressure wound he got while in MH. Such and awesome spirit. I did not see that same level of care while in MH. The PCP of the hospital Dr. Tricia Punsalan, oh my what can I say, this lady's bedside manner should be the blueprint for every doctor, everywhere. Her caring and kind nature is top notch. To the point I asked if she had a private practice because I wanted both of us to follow her. First when I spoke with Joshua, sales director, he was kind, especially after the case mgr(s) from MH had been so nice nasty. Even in his busy personal schedule (daughter's graduation) he took the time to address my need of touring this facility after being givien a day to make a decision as great as this by MH. He made an appointment that was met my schedule. Head nurse Ms. Elaine showed me around and again with such kindness, ease and comfort. She didn't make it seem as if I was an inconvenience to her. She answered my questions very throughly and with a smile. MH transferred my loved one here after I asked them not just due to my being out of town(that day) as well as some concerns that they brought to me regarding his condition. I wanted to be there to address them as well as be there for the transition from one place to another. Well they moved him anyway and I was informed later the evening when I return. A nurse from CS called me letting me know he was there, when she found out that I didn't know, she had nurse Jeremy call me. Jeremy(awesome person) and I talk for about 2 hours on the phone like we were old friends catching up. He too made me feel comfortable that my husband was in the right place and would be taken care of. Also Azalea in imaging, also an awesome person, soft spoken and caring. Explained in details what images would be done and why, how.
On to the level of care. The next day of his being at this facility, my husband was moving he arms and hands. I was told at MH that he might be paralyzed from the neck down. When I sat by his bed and saw him scratch his nose, and whispering to talk with the trach, I praised God. Within a week of his being here he was out of ICU and in a regular room. A few days after that I walked into his room and greeted him and he greeted me back where I understood him. GLORY🙌. So in a week and a few days PROGRESS!! More than he had at MH in 4 1/2 months. I can go on and on about all the good things and care that has happened here. Its been a little over two weeks now and my husband is steady progressing. He is speaking clearly. Sitting on the side of the bed. Sitting up for a hour at a time, now eating and breathing on his own. The PT team Darin, Adrian and others are GREAT!! Oh and I can not forget the ICU staff and ESPECIALLY the respiratory team, all top notch! I have tried to remember the names but too many so let me say this.....THIS PLACE IS OFF THE CHAIN as my students would say.😁 You can rest assured that your loved ones will be taken care of here. Oh also the CNA's, they were very gentle and caring. Even the housekeeping staff, very friendly.
I/we are blessed to have this team of peoCLASS, a whole, care for my husband. A SMALL PLACE WITH A BIG HEART ❤️. Over all I would say people and care here is AWESOME. Way to go Conerstone. You did not disappoint me. You lived up to your ratings (when I did my homework). I will keep all of you in my prayers that you continue to care for each and every patient as family, like you did me and mine. God Bless.

Severely allergic to onions and I had to get my food remade twice. Next time I'll just send the hospital bill

If you were a fan of the discontinued Brioche bun, and you haven't tried the new Potato bun - let me just say this: it's serviceable. The Brioche bun is far superior in taste and feel.
This location is hit or miss - we went the other week and our meals were hot, fresh, and everything was exceptional. With that being said, I went a couple days ago and both fries in my order were undercooked and you could taste that the tea was starting to go bad. That has been a problem with Whataburger Tea for the last 5-6 years.

This location has gone so far down hill. Every time we order here, they give us the wrong drinks. No sauces and the burgers have tasted gross lately. I don’t know what happened but something needs to change and until then we won’t be spending money here.

Don’t know what the issue was today but waited over 40 mins for my order as a curbside. I had to go through the drive thru after seeing 10-15 cars come and go and still had to wait because my order wasn’t done. It was 2 burger meals and 3 tenders nothing crazy. I am here very often and have never waited more than 10 mins even when app estimated 15 and ordered 6 meals plus. I wanted fast food as I was in a hurry to get home. My kids wound up ordering McDonald’s and had it delivered in 15 mins. Now I’m home with the food no one is going to eat. Money waisted.
