  We recently ate at The Catch in Conroe and ordered 1 pound of shrimp with a large corn and potatoes. The food was good, and the staff made sure to let us know beforehand that the “hot” seasoning could not be refunded due to the spice level, which we appreciated. However, for anyone who truly enjoys spicy food, the “hot” option wasn’t very spicy at all. I was expecting something with a lot more heat, but it ended up being fairly mild. If you’re someone who loves your lips burning and wants a real spicy kick, you may be disappointed. Overall, the experience was good, but I would recommend adding an extra-hot or extreme spice level for customers who enjoy genuinely spicy food. I think that would make the menu even better and satisfy those of us who like serious heat.

  The time I verbally ask for extra sauce they give me nothing but butter and I got a half of pound of shrimp and the get of the side is dry like what was that ? just irritated literally had too put my own seasoning I could have made this at home ?

  This is the most disorganized place. I went through the drive thru for my Togo order and had call from the window after waiting for several minutes. They told me at the speaker it was ready to go. They left one whole order off. When I parked and went inside for it 3 different people argued with me about it. I had to explain their own menu to them. No one even apologized. The guy young chubby guy behind the counter acted like I was inconveniencing him! Never again.

  We tried a seafood dinner at this spot and left full and satisfied. The seafood boil in Cajun seasoning with medium spice had a good balance of flavor and heat, it brought enough kick to notice without overpowering the seafood itself. The Cajun seasoning coated everything well and gave that classic buttery, savory flavor you want from a seafood boil. The spice level was enjoyable and added flavor rather than just heat. My husband ordered the crispy catfish with Catch seasoned fries and hushpuppies, and the catfish was one of the standouts. It was crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and very well seasoned without tasting overly salty. The Catch fries had great flavor and paired really well with the fish, and the hushpuppies were a nice addition with a soft center and slight sweetness. Overall, this was a solid place for a casual seafood meal with generous flavors and comfort-food sides. If you’re craving seafood with Cajun flavor and well-seasoned fried options, this is definitely worth trying. We’d come back to explore more of the menu.

  I ordered catfish but was served Swai fish instead. The menu should be corrected to accurately reflect what is being served, and the price should match the Swai fish price rather than the catfish price. Julie, who I believe is the manager, had a very rude attitude during the interaction. She told me I could not receive a refund for several days because she was unable to process it at the moment. She stated that I would have to wait several days due to the restaurant’s false advertisement of catfish. She then proceeded to raise her voice and told me there was nothing she was going to do about it right now. I understand that refunds can sometimes take 2–3 business days to appear back in an account once processed, but she specifically said she was not going to issue the refund at this time and that I would have to wait several days before she would even process it. I have never experienced customer service like this before.
