Walked in and was seated in a booth with the shades all the way up and my wife asked if the could lower them, the hostess said she could tell her how to do it. After sitting at table for 5 minutes( my menu had secret sauce all on the inside page) we asked if there was a waiter assigned to our table, the same hostess said that she just got to work so she would go check, she came back and said the waiter was very busy and that she had just arrived at work again, no more than 25 to 30 people in the place, told them they were to busy for us to eat there. We left and went next door to Salt grass, within 3 minutes we placed drink order and appetizer order. We ordered 3 entrees and 3 salads and our waitress checked on us about every 5 minutes to see idmf we needed anything. Conroe Outback done on our eating establishments.
I just want to say, my family and I have been dining out Outback for more than 20 years... the experience we had this time was not worth going for! We ordered steaks because we are at a steakhouse, medium well.. they came out more on the rushed well done side where the steak is tough and dry.. not to mention the awful amount of seasoning was way over bearing... when you add too much salt you cant take it away! He enjoyed the salad and we enjoyed our broccoli but the steaks were terrible and the potato was the smallest sweet potato I think i have ever seen. Just not the same anymore, just like so many things nowadays!

Came here with my 1 year old son- who was fussy- and Ryan was our server and he was so nice and helpful- brought a water cup for the baby and helped me put my food in to go boxes! The owner/manager was such a sweet lady and helped me take my bags out to the car and was super sweet to my son ❤️ Everyone on staff made sure we had a fantastic time and really made this a wonderful experience for not only my son but myself as well! Very awesome will definitely be returning!
This was probably the worst outback steakhouse we’ve ever eaten at. The waiter spilled water all over the table and all over my chair, almost into my lap and didn’t even come back with napkins. When he did come back, he asked how we were and I said we’re really hungry and I started to order and he put his hand up and he said “I’m gonna go take someone else’s order first and I’ll be right back.” he proceeded to take someone else’s order and then went to another table and took their order and then disappeared. My husband and I was shocked. A lady stopped by our table and asked how everything was going, and I told her a little bit of what was happening and she went and got us some napkins and then took our order herself. I ordered the shrimp and my shrimp was cold! The manager stopped back by and asked how everything was and I told her my shrimp was cold so she brought me a new one and a new sweet potato, which was nice. We go to outback all the time, but this is the first time we’ve come here and I don’t think I would come back. Saltgrass was busy and filled to the brim and there was hardly no one at this outback, now we know why.
We went here for my granddaughter's birthday because this is where she wanted to go (?). We made a reservation because we had a party of 10. So, upon arrival, we did find that our table was ready and waiting and so we were seated. They took our drink order right away and they were brought out to us pretty quickly as well. When we went to order, this is where everything started going wrong (1-star rating for service). There were orders taken (items) that were never put in/brought out to us, and then there was even items that were brought out completely wrong. I would say that this place is overpriced for the food portions that you receive. The food was at best okay, so nothing to brag about there (1-star rating for food). If you want a steak then go next door! The tab(s) were wrong and it seemed like it took an "Act of Congress" to get them figured out and to us so that we could pay and get out of there. Also, I think that the server(s) were new, and if so, then I wish that they would have told us as much. If they have been doing this for awhile, then they may want to consider another career path! I was not impressed with this place at all... Mind you, that we came here for my granddaughter's birthday after all, which they knew at the door when we came in, and could also tell by the cake that we had with us. No one ever told my granddaughter "Happy Birthday", sang to her or did anything for that matter (1-star rating for atmosphere). Oh, they did do something when someone bought some shots - Go figure! I will not be back to this place and I do not recommend it either. I think that the 1-star rating that I left is just... Just my opinion, so take it for what you may!
