  Great experience! NoI took advantage of FREE blood pressure and glucose test! It's offered 2nd Sat. of month. So glad I did, my numbers were high. Also have cholesterol testing for $35. No line, no doctors office and no hassle.

  Curbside will load your cart with rotten food, and scan items they don’t place in your cart or give to you. The most you’ll get is an “I’m sorry” while they continue to do it every order and each time getting worse. You’ll have to pay out of pocket for extra trips each order. No kind of restitution on their end. Or they’ll offer to refund you but be warned- you usually won’t see that refund unless you call several times. If they do claim they’ll refund you do not hang up until you get some sort of confirmation to your email. That’s your best bet. I have genuine concerns curbside discriminates but when I reported it to the manager Chris, he heavily defended their position and went as far as to laugh in my face when I declined to give him the personal information of others I know who shop there. It was so funny to him that I would protect their personal information in fear of backlash when he’s acting so snarky. Chris ruined HEB for me. This place is as disgusting as the rotten food you give me each month. I don’t see this location being successful long term with how quickly Chris appears to accept below standard customer ethics. I spoke with Chris to ask him to investigate a pattern of behaviors I see only displayed in certain circumstances that appears to be federally illegal discrimination. I order off several accounts, my friends have me do their orders for them and I’m a good friend who likes to help where she can especially for my friends with babies. So I definitely see a pattern here. Rather than agreeing to do a serious investigation or take the claims seriously his solution was that I just get out of my car, and go through every bag myself right there with staff and wait in the heat longer for them to correct whatever is wrong. Chris doesn’t seem to understand that some people using curbside have disabilities and can’t do all that micromanaging of his staff. Besides the fact that I pay more for every item online than I do in store to use curbside. To pay these people to shop for me. Chris do you even understand how long that would take for me to check every order? I’d have to check every fruit, vegetable, meat package expiration, any bread bakery items or tortillas expiration dates, I’d have to have my full list and count each items quantity and ensure every item is there. By the time I’d finish half my food would be exposed in the heat and no good. My car burning gas in idle. And then you look at these reviews and I’m not the only one! And all you do is say “sorry” and do it again?? That’s an abusive relationship HEB. And I’m done. Excuses made: “employees can’t see payment method” next sentence “except at the kiosk they use” which they can check and use to discriminate if they want to, even prior to shopping, it’s just against company policy and illegal. But Chris doesn’t take this seriously enough to investigate. So how can we ensure he’s enforcing this policy? When someone was concerned about it he laughed at them and insinuated she was a liar. “I’m not laughing at you” while still actively laughing at me in an attempt to bully me to dox the names of the other people whose orders I place for them. This behavior was so particularly disgusting as it shows me the kind of man Chris is to women. “You can’t pull up and text for a replacement item” next sentence after I said “I do this every time” “oh yeah if they set up a replacement order you can but I couldn’t do that for this.” You could bud but ok. This was literally a replacement on a rotten item you gave me. You had 20 min at least. I’ve had it set up in less time before (literally seconds). You’re just lazy and don’t want to press the buttons.

  I will only shop at this grocery store. It is always very clean, well stocked, and the lighting is exactly right. That may not seem like an important detail but try to notice the next time you are shopping there, compared with other stores. The workers are friendly and happy to help. H-E-B deserves all of the accolades it receives. They even help out their fellow humans by being there after a hurricane even before any federal agency shows up. I lived in Florida for 20 years. We were fortunate to have Publix. They are like H- E-B’s younger cousins. I’ll step off of my soap box now. Thanks for reading, if you did!

  For such a beloved Texas store, they consistently have the rudest employees at self scan checkout, and they also come up and hover over you like you are about to pocket the crown jewels. Ruins the entire shopping experience. Even Walmart doesn't make it this obvious!

  After a rough day yesterday the I'm assuming male manager their made our evening better.(was around 5:47pm 9-13-26) This might be a small thing for most but for our autistic son its the only thing he looks forward too in the end - getting his buddy bucks. Our cashier was great(Jojo D) but didnt have any, however he asked 3 other cashiers who didnt have any either. He really felt bad and tried to give our son a sticker but he said " no thank you". So as we were leaving I stopped and asked the manager gentleman if he could get our boy some buddy bucks. He kindly went to 2 different cash registers and got him a few, our boy was so excited and went to put his money in to see how many points he would win or if he would be in instant winner. Well he was an instant winner in which he got so excited and my husband went to find someone to help w his prize and again that nice gentleman helped and gave our son his prize..so again thanks for that! Sorry for the constant bother, but really appreciate your kindness in this matter that had nothing to even do w our shopping experience but jz making our Autistic son very happy in these few moments. Thanks again!
