HEB overall is great—no doubt about it. But this particular store is not up to standard. If you don’t care about brands or selection, this is your store. If you want quality produce, this is not your store. Go to HEB Willis. If you want meat in stock, again go to Willis. If you want any kind of bread besides basic sandwich, this is not your store. I bought this (photo) amazing babka at an Austin HEB 2 days ago. But this Conroe store’s Bakery has “never heard of” babka. (Even though they do at least sell it during the holidays—so I guess everyone here is new and not an experienced baker.) Speaking of, if you’re okay paying $20+ for blah grocery store pie, this is your place. (If you prefer actual baker quality for the same $20, Pie in the Sky is 2 min south on 336.). And if you like all your glass jars thoughtlessly packed together in the same bag so they clank and break in your car, these are your peeps. I’ve voiced all this to this HEB many times. They don’t care. If you don’t mind a store that doesn’t care, look no further.

Curbside needs to be rethought here. I had to drive circles around the parking lot just to find an open spot. Signs say curbside only, but half the cars parked there had no one in them. Ridiculous. Maybe trying moving curbside to a place no one would want to park as it clear with the state of our country, the people are selfish and will see the open spot, and decide that their time is more important than the person who should be parking there…
Once I did finally get an open spot, it took 30 minutes to get my groceries. Meanwhile, their workers are slowly walking back and forth (while looking at their phones) no urgency at all to take care of their customers.

Cashier Sarah A this morning was the most unfriendly cashier I have ever had at any HEB. Couldn't even say thank you when handing me my receipt. Small attitudè when trying to figure out how to ring something up for me. The office female who came over to assist her wasn't friendly either. Neither one could give me apology. No need to take out frustrations on a customer because your not sure how to ring something up. I was trying to explain to both how it was done. We have made this purchase 5 times.

I've been buying wine at this HEB for over a decade. Never a problem, always a pleasure. Craig was there for years, always knew what he was doing, very knowledgeable and friendly. Then, he retired, and I guess HEB stopped hiring the same kind of Wine Managers. The red-headed female that took over for him is a complete nightmare. Unfriendly, does not make eye contact, not helpful, no sense of humor or happiness there, really a letdown. Now, there is another there, I guess her assistant. Kind of a light sandy/gray haired female. Bad attitude, not helpful, seems confused. I was about to leave, but completed my transaction anyway. But, thought about it when I got home, and I'll never go back. I can go to Kroger if I want to be ignored and frowned at.
Thankfully a Total Wine opened in Conroe, at least they are friendly and helpful, and are interested in making a sale and seeing about getting things in they may not have. So long, HEB

I was discriminated in this store and treated horribly! Ryan immediately shrugged me off as if I wasn’t there! She then calls Torance who dismissed me said they won’t take accountability for any mistakes in the store! I didn’t even purchase my groceries nobody should ever feel this way in a place where they shop. Don’t shop in this location they won’t treat fairly
