- CACesar AlvizoApr 17, 20261.0Stopped in 4/17 and grabbed a tiramisu. One thing I noticed right away is mold, white fuzz. I told myself , “interesting , it had to sit back there a while for it to get like this” so then I checked the label and this is where it gets very concerning. They deliberately changed the old date label and put a new one. It’s clear as day and I cannot in my conscious go back if they are doing this. I can’t imagine how they are handling the rest of their items. The old label underneath definitely feels more “soggy” and worn out and this new one which expires 4/20 feels crisp and new. You cannot fool people like this. I work in logistics and supply chain for a produce conglomerate- this is unacceptable. It might be a small thing but the fact that someone consciously chose to do this is bad for business. Additionally, I have also come across black decayed broccolini, rusted, slimy romaine lettuce in their salads. Be very wary of this place , they are 100% cutting corners. It’s also concerning that all of their coolers including where the meat is stored; is heavily humid on the glass all the time. This is definitely speeding up mold and decay. Is the quality there in a lot of items ? Of course. But business practices like this will turn anyone away especially at these prices. The slice itself is hard and breaking apart which is a clear indicator that this tiramisu was sitting in that fridge for a long time. You can also see the humidity in the edges that was starting to accumulate
